for the price and location - this place is awesome, my only problem was seeing they keep dolphins - for what reason??? let them go ! their pool is small and shallow, they have no place to hide from people; please please let them go - and if for some reasons they cannot be released - please give them more space and do not conduct shows and petting ...

As Tahiti is an expensive destination we felt we hit pretty good value although we did choose the most expensive room, over water bungalow-awesome!

Great property, beautiful views, tasty food yet sadly many individuals of the hotel staff could have had a better attitude customer service wise, lots of hardships with language barrier and even when in communication understood not great service all around had to speak with management a few times to get things resolved, the great few employees were absolutely helpful & fantastic but the rest very sub par, we hate to compare but absolutely different experience at Hilton Moorea which is always outstanding in every way or even Intercontinental Tahiti amazing staff there!! We sadly wouldn’t go back to that property again too many nuisances unfortunately especially with the extra considerations that should be common courtesy in traveling with a baby :(

Old rooms needing massive upgrading. Nothing special will be done if you plan tour honeymoon here. Basic room and very expensive food. Not what you can categorize as Romantic place, even if your get through Junior Suite Overwater Bungalow (only 4 are available and even these are close to the shore so barely overwater)

We had a great room but one night into our stay, the majority of the hotel staff went on strike. After that our room was not cleaned, they just delivered towels. There was no room service. Only one hotel restaurant was open each evening and they served an awful buffet.

This is one of the most beautiful settings in the world. Everyone a the hotel is so pleasant and helpful. Sometimes they are a little slow in getting your room cleaned, but they will get it done and work around your schedule.

This is a very large property. It had a lot of activities on a resort which was nice. I also enjoyed the Dolphin encounter. My Bungalow only had 1 regular US plug so be sure to bring a converter.

We loved the included water activities. When they were replacing sand on the beach they gave us a free boat ride to the moth which had great snorkeling with rays and fish.

Nice bungalow but more water adjacent than overwat
Check in is quite late but good about storing luggage and allowing access to resort facilities if you arrive earlier. Overwater bungalow not quite what most people mean by the term (it was actually mostly on land with the deck sitting out over water) but large, comfortable, clean and great snorkeling just off the deck.

One of the best resorts at Moo
It was fine, our room was not so big as expected for the paid amount. Consierge was great always helping us. Food was so so at the restaurant and very good at the pool area. Pool is on good sharp, beach is a few steps from our room. Dolphins atraction was closed due a construction project.

First we were very disappointed we thought it was a 4 or 5 stars hotels with excellent service and professional staff. 1. the room nightmare to find some outlets in the room 2. bathroom we stayed in the room 262 you should check by yourself for a 4or 5 stars how can we have a mirror with stains of glue or something else on it + the caulk around the toilet my gosh !!!!! 3. the balcony no lights I had to call twice to have some light on the balcony 4. two ice makers were broken a member staff told me to ask the Bar to get some ice and they refused they told me to call from my room a waste of time just a shame for 4 or 5 stars yes a shame! 5. the following day of our arrival we decided to asked to the "nautic center " arround 9am the staff member told us to go on the motu to see beautiful fishes we asked him in French if we need to book now and if it wasn't too late he said no you have to come at 10 am for the departure you will pay at that time. At 9.45 am we came back and your staff member a new one "Nathan" asked us what do you want. I explained to him we would go to the motu and he became aggressive told us it was too late etc.. etc ... frankly, it was unacceptable the way he talked to me. I just told him i am sorry but your coworker at 9 am told us it was possible to do it without a booking. For your information we spent two weeks in French Polynesia we were in a real 5 stars in Bora Bora i could say for everything service staff etc 10/10 . But your hotel and especially you

The room smelled like urine and overall service was terrible. For example, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it took them 30 minutes just to bring us water. Guests were walking out like crazy, it was just bad.

Overwater bungalow paradise with family!
The property and amenities were amazing. We loved the overwater bungalow, use of kayaks, and the the turtle sanctuary onsite. The turtle sanctuary is for such a good cause. We took kids with us in the overwater bungalow and the four of us were very comfortable. The hotel went above and beyond to compensate all guest with free dinners and shows during the construction--what a nice thing to do. The only thing we didn't like was the dolphin enclosure--those dolphins should be released and not kept locked up.

While the room was very comfortable and the staff was amazing, some renovations (including the shutdown of the pool!!!) that were underway for 7 days of our stay were NOT mentioned in any of the website alerts or leadup to our trip. For anyone who also considers a beautiful pool a crucial part of a tropical vacation, you know what this did to an adventure we’d waited years to plan. Again, generally the grounds were beautiful and service was great, but the Management completely dropped the ball on handling our concerns and disappointments for a stay that cost far more than we ever spend.

We recently booked one night here in an Ocean View room. After a sailing trip before our vacation rental. The room was okay. A bit tired for this price category. Bed was very comfortable. Construction projects were everywhere; pool, roof, bungalows. Impact was very noticeable. Except for caution tape, nothing was done to shield construction from guests. The Ocean View room, 184, had a view of some landscape that was in front of an Oceanside bungalow. There was no view of the water When I inqyuired at the desk I was told it was considered Ocean View. A complete falsehood. I lost that one somehow. Dinner in the Casual Restaurant was good. Food was fine. Service was nice but not memorable. Again, for the price, one would expect more. The overall service was fine, but when we asked for a bit of milk for some coffee, we were turned down flatly as breakfast didn't begin for a half hour. Just not the service I expected. Not a typical four star "It would be my pleasure" response. So, wait a few months for the construction to complete, and go for nice but not over the top service and prices that are quite high. It is Mo'orea and everything is pricy. Except the fresh fish and mangos!
