Cook's Bay Hotel & Suites is simply stunning. Could not ask for a better stay in Moorea, it is set in a fantastic location with beautiful and breathtaking views. The staff are super friendly and most helpful and the restaurant dining is one of the best rated on the island. Look forward to booking our next stay soon. Would highly recommend!

The hôtel was very good. We ate at the Cook's restaurant and I'll write a separate review as the food was good but the service arrogant and disrespectful.

The hotel is located in a beautiful setting with outstanding views of the ocean and Cooks Bay. The morning breakfast service was excellent and served in a timely fashion. The evening dining service was very slow, but the food was good. We enjoyed the pool area and beach which has plenty of seating and never overcrowded even though the hotel was full. We will definitely return!

Loved the area and the property. The Hotel needs to establish a few rules around the pool and post them - Quiet time hours , no children left without supervision and designated smoking areas . We would stay again the suites are very comfortable and we really enjoyed the ocean view and a beautiful happy hour at Le Cooks . Pool and beach area is really nice with very nice patio furniture. All in all a amazing place for the price

This property was clean, beautiful and the staff were amazing! The staff helped us rent e-bikes and use the hotel kayaks available. They also arranged taxis for us and answered all our questions about the island. The hotel was comfortable and relaxing, with a great location that’s 10-15 minutes walk from restaurants and stores. Would definitely recommend and we will be staying again!

New and very modern property with beautiful views of the ocean as well as the mountains and Cook's Bay. Fun pool area, with lounge chairs around the pool and also facing the ocean. Great restaurant. Wonderful staff! We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit on the 1st floor and loved the indoor and outdoor space.

This is a beautiful property near a couple of good street side restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Free parking, nice restaurant, and pool overlooking the bay.

The Cooks Bay Hotel lived up to the strong ratings. Beautiful property, comfortable room, great amenities, and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The location was top notch. In particular, it was a great place to stay while also having a rental car. You wouldn’t really need to leave the property, but we enjoyed brief excursions to other nearby beaches, Belvédère viewpoint, and stores/restaurants. I’d return to Moorea and stay at the Cooks Bay Hotel in a heartbeat.

This is a brand new property that is well-designed, in a beautiful location. Staff are friendly and helpful and food is excellent. Very clean, comfortable and has small kitchen. Spent more than a week here, highly recommend if going to Moorea.

Almost perfect stay.
Nice new hotel and friendly staff. Unfortunately, there were two minor faults: 1.) The first two days the coffee (espresso) in the restaurant was excellent. Then its quality dropped... no crema. The young lady did her best, but it was obvious that her level of education was not enough to solve this problem. 2.) On departure, I asked if we could have check-out an hour later, at 12:00 instead of 11:00. This was refused, even though the hotel was empty.... Strange, for a hotel of this level, but whatever. Normally I would have given 4 stars instead of 5... but this time I was more lenient. However, the service should match the price. So I hope the staff will get trained.

Exceptional property with super professional staff
Very nice hotel in Moorea with EXCELLENT food (probably the beat on the island). Highlights: Friendly staff, spacious rooms (we had a mini suite for 7 nights), nice pool, beautiful setting, easy parking during our stay. Bryan at the front excellent was great, the staff at Le Cook restaurant were awesome and so positive. We have enjoyed our discussions with the French crew (Simon and Leo), the Brazilian / Fortaleza Maria as well as the 2 local vahinés Yvette and Liane. The only lowlights (and they were minor) - as the hotel got full and given the close proximity to the pool, it was not pleasant to be woken-up (on the last 2 nights) by 2 obnoxious kids yelling before the am for at least 45 minutes. No real beach access and cannot get out in the water unless you plunge on the choppy side of the hotel / near the restaurant. In recap, exceptional hotel, super clean too , best food, professional yet friendly staff. A no brainer if you want to spend a few days or weeks on the island.

We really enjoyed our stay at cooks bay. The location was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We managed to spot whales from our room everyday which was magical. My only request would be for the rooms to have a full Length mirror and the air conditioning wasn’t really working so it was stifling in the night which made it hard to sleep. Overall would definitely recommend!

Served as a lovely home base for 2 days as we explored Moorea. The suite was bright and spotlessly clean with a terrific view. The pool was refreshing and relaxing on the beanbag floats. Continental breakfast was just enough fuel to start our day served at probably one of the best spots on the island. We got a great rate and were very happy to start off our trip at Cook's Bay Hotel.

Very nice hotel, it's new so there were a couple bugs like the wifi haha, but really you shouldn't be working anyway. They don't have snorkeling gear, so make sure you bring some. The pool is beautiful and you can go next door to jump into the ocean! It's incredible! The staff are amazing, so nice and friendly! We really enjoyed our stay and the shower is phenomenal!

What a great hotel, everyone was so nice, the rooms very comfortable, and the restaurant was a nice surprise. We enjoyed the happy hour in the evening and in the morning a nice breakfast with entertainment from spinner dolphins and incredibly a mother whale and her calf close enough to see her blow air and dive. highly recommend!!!

This is a beautiful property on a beautiful part of the island. Rooms are clean and spacious, staff is very warm, friendly, and helpful, and the location and view from the rooms is beautiful. We did happy hour on the little beach alongside the restaurant and enjoyed the food and watching the sunset. Great place to stay!

Beautiful quiet property with gorgeous sunsets and the best happy hour. Snorkeling right off the dock was excellent, sharks, turtles, rays, colorful coral. Huge lanai with each suite, rooms were so quiet, bedding luxurious. Le Cooks restaurant was fantastic. For a local restaurant try Kayleakea about 10 minute walk south. Tuna carpaccio out of this world!

Clean good hotel, rooms are spacious, can sleep up to 4 people. Problems : room was not ready for 2pm as promised but rather 4h30 pm. They offered the handicap room for the mean time... unfortunately AC was not working! All this and no gesture from the staff ... this is unacceptable at $400 a night. Elevator is really bad...so slow and noisy, they need to fix it.

Overall best property on Mo’orea. From what I saw this property is the best value on the island. Everything is relatively expensive here but this hotel in in a middle range price wise but is run like the much higher priced luxury resorts. It’s newer and in better shape than more luxe places. Extremely clean. Very good restaurant. Excellent friendly staff. On the beach but not a great swimming beach. Good snorkeling, not great. But boat tours leave right from the hotel and there are excellent beaches within a short taxi ride. Good restaurants and shops within walking distance. Taxis are expensive but so are rental cars. You can save by taking taxis or going on guided tours.

We stayed at Cook's Hotel and Suites for 1 week and it was the most marvelous place I have ever visited. Moorea is so beautiful and staying at Cook's Bay Hotel and Suites made it that more magical. The staff is what makes this place superb. The suites themselves are super clean and modern. Having a kitchenette made our vacation more affordable and allowed us to cook small meals and eat them on our balcony. We enjoyed every moment of our stay here and would recommend to everyone.

The staff and front desk was exceptionally helpful with our activities and any requests booking transportation. The property is in great shape, very clean with amenities and the infinity pool is gorgeous. The beach is literally a couple of steps off of the pool deck. We can’t wait to return in the future.

We consider ourselves to be very lucky to stay at this property for our vacation. This is a brand-new facility with outstanding services and modern style. It is very clean and white. Great location, friendly staff. Overall exelante expiriasnce.

Wonderful location with spectacular ocean views!
Wonderful location with spacious rooms an amazing ocean views! The staff is friendly and you have all the amenities, pool, restaurant, two bars, free kayaks and a dock to dive into the crystal clear turquoise waters! The rooms were not put together that great. The curtains were to open and close and actually fell down the last day. Service was a little slow at the restaurant/bar, but your on Tahitian time, and the bartender at the pool side bar was great! I highly recommend!
