Our check-in was great. We were warmly welcomed by Kat. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and we know that breakfast was offered. Because we were visiting family, we actually came in late to sleep and left early to rejoin our family. We would have no issues booking this hotel again.

This hotel was surprising for an area that is rather depressed. It's close to a Highway 17 exit, but far enough away that there was no highway noise. The owners of the property have taken excellent care of it and have upgraded all the rooms with new bathrooms, new furnishings, etc. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone traveling in the area and will visit again.

We did not get our room cleaned for two days even when the tag on the front door asked for service. Our toilet waa small and very low, but perfect for our 6 year old. We stayed there before and I dont recall the same. Maybe some rooms vary

The hotel is not 5 star by traditional standard but given the area it is 6 star. Good accommodation near Monticello has been a long time coming and this hotel has been there through the duration with clean rooms and many options!

Bw Monticello
The room was very clean! Property is an older hotel and a tad earworn. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, clearly trying their best to make us feel welcome. Nearby restaurant and diners were very good. Area is one we would like to explore more.

Our room was spacious and with an unexpected balcony. The noise level was quite low which allowed for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was one of the better ones we have experienced. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Restaurant next door was good. Short distance to Bethel Woods. All around a great experience!

I arrived at 2:30 am. They told me I could have a late checkout of 12 pm. The housekeepers woke me up at 9 by knocking on the door to see if I was there. Around 10 they woke me up by being loud in the hallway. At 11 am the front desk called me to check if I was still in the room. This was frustrating. But the room was nice and spacious.

The property has a very nice room and so no complaints there. But sound isolation is not good - we were on the first floor (not recommended) and activities in the recreation area were easily heard. More troubling than that by far is the ease by which sounds from overhead intrude upon your space, especially if you have adults above who seem oblivious to expected behavior while in a hotel. The front desk help did quell the action above so that there was needed quiet beginning around 10:30 PM. Breakfast is in a place of few tables and very crowded conditions, but there was nice variety of foods, including fresh oatmeal, not just packets of instant stuff.
