Good price for a boobytrapped room.
The hotel was good for the price. We needed something central downtown and this fit the bill. Our room was on the backside, so it wasn't too loud. I was shocked, though, to come back to the hotel on a Friday night with my family only to see a sign a few doors down advertising a strip club. Not cool for a family vacation. Everything in the room was broken and put back in place. It felt like everywhere we turned something was boobytrapped -- the fridge only had the hinge on the top so when the door was opened, it swung off the hinge and crashed on the floor, breaking a shelf; I put a jacket on the wall hooks only to have the whole rack come down right on top of me; my son put one knee on the metal chair only to have he legs do the splits right under him. Crazy stuff. Breakfast wasn't the best in Uruguay, but it was okay.

Good location but basic
Very good location but rather basic accommodation with simple small room and old style not the cleaniest bathroom. Windows overlooking couetyard with common area, can be noisy in the evening.

Value hotel
This hotel provides basic offerings. Breakfast is bare minimum. Room is clean, but old. Shower is small and water pressure is very low. This is a good hotel for the frugal traveler who is ok with the minimal offering. The room does have a quality safe. The staff are excellent and eager to help and assist. The location is excellent, with many eateries and attractions within walking distance. I do not recommend this hotel for individuals who are physically big due to small size of shower and very low water pressure. For the traveler who is looking for simplicity at a great price, this is a good fit.

The pictures are deceiving, it's too expensive.
It is too expensive for being a 3 star hotel, to small, it needs maintanance. I will never stay there again.

É um hotel muito simples, com instalações também simples e modestas, mas tudo muito limpo e bem organizado. A equipe de funcionários é muito prestativa e atenciosa. O café da manhã é uma cortesia do hotel (café, leite e medialunas, um pão típico da região). Fica localizado na área central de Montevidéu, próximo da famosa Plaza Independencia e do centro histórico.

Un hotel conveniente en el centro de Montevideo
El Hotel Hispano se encuentra a apenas 150 metros del Palacio Salvo, en pleno centro de la ciudad de Montevideo, y a unos pasos de la Av. 18 de julio. Si bien cuando estuve allí hubo días festivos, esta ubicación tan céntrica facilitó mi desplazamiento por la ciudad. El personal del hotel fue muy amigable, uno de las mejores experiencias en check-in que te tenido. La habitación fue sencilla, pero acogedora.El desayuno, igualmente sencillo, típico de la región rioplatense. Volvería nuevamente a alojarme en el hotel en una futura oportunidad

el personal de atención excelente, el encargado del hotel nunca se le vio, el personal de limpieza poca predisposición se les tenia que indicar que y donde limpiar porque solo limpian donde ven sus ojos debajo de las camas lleno de suciedad los rincones de las paredes con telas de araña las griferias con perdidas de agua constante la ropa de cama en 6 días solo la cambiaron 1 vez las toallas no las cambian a diario como debería ser solo las doblan y las vuelven a dejar sobre la cama el ultimo día fui victima de robo toquetearon la caja fuerte bloquearon el código de seguridad la abrieron me robaron 200 dolares y el encargado del hotel nunca apareció para hacer la denuncia como corresponde solo el el muchacho de recepcion turno noche se acerco a la habitación para abrir la caja fuerte con una llave

O hotel fica muito bem localizado, da pra ir a pé aos principais pontos turísticos. O quarto é muito bom, atendimento excelente! O café da manhã deixa a desejar para os que estão acostumados com variedades, mas o preço vale a pena, pois a comida em Montevidéu é um pouco salgada. No geral indico o hotel, atendeu as minhas necessidades. Voltaria com certeza.

Las fotos engañan mucho. El piso de la habitación estaba completamente sucio y pegasoso, las camas duras y viejas al igual que los cubrecamas. Edificio antiguo y con falta de mantenimiento. DEMASIADO CARO para lo que ofrecen.

A única coisa que prestava no hotel realmente era a localização. Próxima a vários pontos turísticos. Quando cheguei me colocaram em um quarto que acredito que andar tinha sido dedetizado antes e não limparam o quarto, pois o mesmo estava lotado de baratas, de 8 à 10, a maioria morta e um mau cheiro terrível. E ainda tive um relógio furtado no quarto, infelizmente só percebi a ausência do relógio quando já tinha saído da cidade.

O Hotel é muito bem localizado. Fizrmis muita coisa a pé. Porém, a cama não é de boa qualidade e forma buracos. O banheiro precisava de um box adequado, a cortina fica agarrando em.vc quando se toma banho. O café da manhã é muito fraco. A recepção é tão pequena e feia que tamos um susto. Mas, não traduz o que é o hotel.
