It's a lowkey quiet place right across the street from the shuttle for the cloud forest. Staff was super friendly. We went during the off season, so it was super quiet. There's a shared office space for working from.

Room was clean and exactly what we needed during our two night stay. Loved the hot tub. We did have a hard time finding the property as there was no sign at the time of our visit but gps got us 99% of the way. It’s directly across from the meeting point of the guided hanging bridges walking tour so we were able to walk over. You’ll be able to drive about 10 minutes to town. Parking wasn’t too bad in the town area during our stay and the hotel has parking

The gentleman who assisted me was very polite and resourceful. My room was clean, my bed was very comfortable and the shower very spacious. I wished there had been either a restaurant or convenience store closer to the hotel.

Loved how close it was to the cloud forest. Loved being surrounded by the sounds and sights of nature 24/7. Loved the nature features incorporated into the room decor. Loved being outside the city but still close enough to everywhere. Loved the recommendations of things to do and the help of the manager to arrange them. Did not love the noisy hallway flooring outside our window. Or that we could hear our neighbors phone conversations. Did not love that the hot tub/pool was not hot.

The place is well situated. The front desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The area has lots of areas to hang out and pass the time at night.

Small issue of not having our reservation that was already paid for, but we were able to get the room that we ordered and the customer service was great. there was a change of ownership and they are going through growing pains. The location next to the cloud, Forrest is great and it was really good value for money. The hot tubs were hot and so were the showers.

We arrived at 5:00 pm and the reception doors were locked. I walked around the property and found someone that said they worked there. They let me into a room and left. There was a dead spider and two other dead bugs on the pillows, spiders with egg sacs under the bathroom sink, and long hair in the shower. Expedia "attempted" to contact the property for three days to approve a refund but couldn't get a response.

Gorgeous property, beautiful location. Very conveniently located right across the street from the Monte Verde Cloud Forest Reserve. The only problem we had was finding the location, it seems the management or name of the hotel had changed, but thankfully we stopped by a local hotel and they helped us find our way.

Great location to visit Monteverde. Bad location for going out to eat. Pictures obviously from long ago. The floors in the room was so loud and creaky, and so was the neighbors. I wouldn't spend more than one night here.

We stayed there nights here. The property is beautiful. There is no restaurant anymore which made getting breakfast a challenge when we had early morning adventures planned. Unfortunately we have a room where two rooms were directly above us and you could hear every step. To make matters worse, we got bed bugs. Have never had them before but we all woke up with bites on the last day we were there. So gross. You can do better than staying here.
