"Located away from Amalfi so that you can experience the 'real' Italian culture. Hosts were amazing - were given fresh figs and lemon profiteroles left over from a local wedding in the church next to the property. Great views of Amalfi and excellent outdoor spaces for relaxing in the evening. You do need to be physically fit as there are lots and lots of stairs - 300 down to the local village. You can arrange for the local donkeys to carry your luggage to the villa which is needed! "

"What a lovely hotel in the heart of Amalfi. We had a balcony view of the Duomo from our BATHROOM. Absolutely incredible. The staff were all extremely welcoming. The entrance to the hotel is a little hard to find, and requires some stairs, but they sent detailed instructions, and it's super convenient to get to from the ferry, and is absolutely in the center of the action in Amalfi. And yet, the restaurant upstairs is peaceful and quiet, and serves wonderful food, with an absolutely stunning view of the duomo and all the tourists below. Would definitely recommend, and would stay there again if and when I return to Amalfi."
