Staff was always very helpful and friendly. Great location for walking to the spas in the main Square as well as the train station. Clean and beautifully decorated hotel. only negative was we tried to have dinner in the dining room one night and just didn’t care for the food, but there are lots of options in the neighborhood. Breakfast were OK.

Minerva Palace is very nostalgic. We have been coming to Montecatini for several years and I enjoy my stay each time. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant on site is very good, the food is amazing. I highly recommend staying here.

Pernottato due notti per lavoro anche se poi sono riuscito a fare un giro tra Montecatini e Montecatini Alto. Albergo ben posizionato con parcheggio riservato (anche se con pochi posti). Struttura pulita e personale molto cortese e disponibile. Colazione con un buon assortimento dolce mentre per il salato si può fare di più ….camera perfettamente pulita e con un ampio bagno, televisione di dimensioni generose ma lo stile è un po’ retrò e il condizionatore abbastanza rumoroso. Nel complesso comunque consigliabile.

A bit disappointing.

After re-reading this review I can see how any one item on this list seems small and petty; but in hindsight I still stand by the list as a whole. Everything stems from management's online descriptions being less that what was expected. Yes the wifi is "free" but you are required to log in with an existing Facebook or Gmail acct you must agree to some very technical draconian privacy terms before you are allowed to surf.Yes this is a beautiful old Building and the front lobby welcome was heartwarming. But walk up one flight of stairs and you see the age of the carpeting,while all clean; it shows its age. The same can be said about the "premium" bedding. Yes everything was clean but if the online page states premium and the hotel is not the lowest price for the area. I would expect new and top quality bedding mattress and blankets. Both rooms we were offered had the same nice 70's era floral dated bedding. Yes it was all clean and fresh but disappointing that it was not our expectations.The walls in the hall and parts of the room had normal wear and tear scuff and dings. Again acceptable and not a bad thing but the hotel is priced on the higher end and I would expect that in a budget motel not this beautiful classic location. Their are more things on this list like the poor flushing toilet or the less-than-easy "free" parking but I worry about sounding pendantic. The most disappointing was how one manager tried to play my concerns down. In the end we received a discount.

A gem for the price

Great place to stay, outside balconies so you can gaze at the stars at night. Really good staff at reception. Breakfast meh but could be the timing. Noise from other rooms.

Made to feel welcomed

Franco at the front desk was more than helpful in planning our day. It is not a modern hotel, but the staff are awesome, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is delicious.
