Besides the five stars I gave for cleanliness, friendly staff, and free parking, the continental breakfast was substantial and of excellent quality. The reservation we had made at a different hotel had fallen apart and we found this one on Expedia. We arrived around 10:40 pm well after the other guests had. The innkeeper had waited up for us and was very kind and welcoming. Breakfast the next morning was excellent with many choices, hot and cold alike. It gave us a great start to the day. The...

Staff is great

Thank you

This is such a lovely spot. The location is convenient to food and attractions and the manager is incredibly nice and helpful. Comfortable bed, hot shower, nice garden though it stormed when I was there so I didn’t really use it. Would definitely visit Ferrara and stay at this locanda again.

We spent only one night in B&B Hotel Ferrara. Everything was really very good for our expectations.

Staff at the desk very kind, perfect locatio, just in front of the station and 10 minutes walking from the historical center.

Very nice rooms and common areas. Great location right across from the Este castle.

A classic hotel with a good cold breakfast with lots of pastry.

This hotel stands out from all the others I've stayed at. Its six rooms beautifully merge medieval character with modern style. If you visit Northern Italy, I strongly recommend it. The owner provides a personal welcome, and the property boasts lovely fruit trees and vines. The individually tailored breakfast is outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Found Principessa Pio on an Internet search of places in Ferrara. The photos looked great, but they frequently do, while the places often fail to live up to them. Not so in this case. The Pio has just a few rooms along with a restaurant in a recently renovated barn. The fit and finish are of a very high order with a minimal aesthetic throughout. Our room was spacious and relatively inexpensive. The restaurant is quite good and reasonable, and draws a number of people each evening. It is about a...

Great location. Facility was well maintained. Staff was professional, friendly and helpful.

Altamente raccomandato! 👏👏👏👏👏 A great location, only a few minutes walk to Palazzo dei Diamanti, and not tharlt far from Castello Estense di Ferrara . Beautifully decorated with real art, it's very quiet and our room ("the Warhol") has a...
