We had a fabulous stay at the farms cottage and were welcomed with complementary sourdough bread and yummy spreads. It is very nicely decorated, spacious and comes with a hot tub that is lovely at night time - I never saw so many stars before. We had their on-site dinner the first night: my 3 year old daughter nearly finished the entire piece of lasagne as it was so yummy. The farm is lovely: a Trampolin for the kids, the heated pool that we used daily, the friendliness, chicken and dogs that live a happy live and very friendly staff. We needed to see a doctor with one of our kids and they completely took care of recommending a GP and booking an appointment which we more then appreciated. We will definitely come again. Many thanks for such a lovely (and yummy) time.

perfect homely stay

stunning stay, perfect first day in south africa, the most friendly cozy night i’ve ever had.. made friends with the dogs, swam in the pool, slept in the warm cozy breakfast

Lovely small organic farm stay

We spent a night at this lovely place on the outskirts of Montagu. There is a feeling of being out in the country, without actually being too far away from the very pretty town. The room is nicely furnished, very good bed. The views from the private patio are wonderful. Very good breakfast. Unfortunately we didn´t do the tour of the Botanical Products manufacturing, on site - where lovely organic beauty products are lovingly made. We hope to do that next time!

Best of both - farm and small town

We strayed for 3 nights in the Buchu room which had a very comfortable bed (with an electric blanket for the winter nights) and everything else we needed. The fireplace in the room was very welcome as the temperatures in July are quite low. Coffee and tea was supplied and there was a microwave and a small fridge in a mini kitchen which came in very handy. The included breakfast was freshly prepared and very tasty. The location is perfect - on a small farm next to a nature reserve but on the edge of the town. Only a few minutes walk to shops and restaurants plus hiking trails starting right there on the farm. Service from Joy the manager and her staff was perfect. Highly recommended.

One of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Beautiful rooms, comfy beds and home made toiletries. On a working organic farm that you are free to explore. Amazing mountain hikes from the door and 10min walk into town. Really hospitable and helpful owners. Highly recommended

Schön gelegen und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet

Sehr persönlich und liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer. Auf der schönen Farm darf sich jeder Gast frei bewegen. Morgens startet man mit einem sehr leckeren Frühstück in den Tag. Direkt hinter dem Haus startet ein Wanderweg mit schöner Aussicht auf Montagu.

Great little guest farm. Family owned with excellent staff. Lovely dogs taking good care of us during our stay. Amazing breakfast. Nice rooms. Great for families. We would definitely stay here again.

Animals and comfortable country lifestyle

This little hidden pearl is worth a visit for sure. Ideal for children and people who likes the quiet country lifestyle. Loads of animals and the omelette in the morning tasted a little better just by knowing it came from the farm hens, tomatoes from the garden etc etc. We saw 2 little goat babies come to life before we left. How amazing is that? And a free turtle came to visit us as well. Very surreal but from a kids perspective it’s perfect. The only minus would be the long dirt road going there and the damn mosquitoes. But that won’t stop us from returning. When we left we got some eggs in a box to go, so very generous.

Die Kogman and Keisie Guest Farm war der perfekte Ort, um uns von unserer Rundreise zu erholen. Wir wären so gerne länger geblieben, hätten wir vorher gewusst, wie schön es dort ist. Das Personal war großartig, die Gastgeber super freundlich und die Zimmer wunderschön. Unser Sohn hat es geliebt über die Farm zu flitzen, Tiere zu beobachten und vor allem die Hunde zu streicheln.

Best cosy, lovely farm stay in Montagu!

It was the best stay in the most on the most beautiful little guest farm in the most beautiful little town between the mountains. The Mountain View cottage is lovely with everything you need, moder, comfartable, lots of furry blankets, heaters and lovely patio with views on surrounding mountains and baboons with their little one's playing around. There is farm animals that wake you up in the mornings with their farm sounds and you can walk around on the farm or sit on the deck next to the pool. It is on the outskirts of the town, and also near the shops and restaurants in town with a lovely white bridge to walk over. The owners are very friendly and helpfull, as well as the cleaning lady and other staff. I will definitely go back again there.

Farm mit Wohlfühlcharakter

Wir haben uns auf der Farm sehr wohlgefühlt unf hatten ein tolles Zimmer mit Blick in die Berge. Besonders herzlich wurden wir von Jesus und seiner Frau begrüßt und man spürt übetall die liebevolle Atmosphäre. Es gab ein köstliches Frühstück mit Eiern,selbstgemachtem Johgurt und Müsli und leckerem Brot. Besonders sind die Olivenlotion und Seife,die nan auch als Geschenk erwerben kann. Ich wünsche den Beiden alles Liebe.

Nice little farm close to the mountains

Though we arrived late we experienced a warm welcome on the part of the owner giving us a friendly introduction into the property and good advice on restaurants and breakfast places. Unfortunately we stayed only for one night and had not enough time to explore the farm and the beautiful surroundings.

My stay at Kogman&Keisie guestfarm was just wonderful. The farm itself is beautiful and in a very scenic location. The owners Petrus and Liana were the most helpful hosts. I truly loved the place.
