While there is a gated parking lot in the back, the street is on a steep hill, which requires a steep set of concrete stairs to get up and down to walk anywhere, including public transportation. It is very dirty and full of trash, which had obviously been there for weeks or months. Sidewalks are narrow and littered with dog poop in addition to litter. The building...

「Beautiful hotel close to the main area. The star to this property is the hotel staff from the concierge, to front desk and to the fabulous breakfast staff in the am. We had arrived late and the dining options were closing and kept the restaurant open for us and offered us a traditional Sicilian meal! First of many fabulous meals here. The roof top was great - we enjoyed a drink every night before dinner. A perfect stay for our week in Sicily!」
