THEOPHANO is such a classy hotel. Mrs Fani and Mr Christos have built an elegant place that captures the beauty of Monemvasia. It is built in the most picturesque spot of the village. Thank you for your accommodation and kindness, hope to be back soon.

Unfortunate choice

The suite we reserved had hardly been cleaned. The room itself was spacious but the bathroom was extremely tiny. If you were not careful and lifted your arms in the shower you might break the glass door and hurt yourself. Thin mattress and even thinner pillows. Hardly any wifi or tv reception.

Πολύ όμορφος ξενώνας που σου θυμηζει άλλη εποχή

Το ξενοδοχείο είναι μέσα στο κάστρο τα δωμάτια είναι σε διάφορα κτήρια πολύ καθαρά, στο δωμάτιο που μέναμε ήταν μεγάλο άνετο. Ίντερνετ καλό το μόνο μείον που θα έλεγα είναι πολύ μικρό ο χώρος του μπάνιου. Πρόγευμα υπήρχε έξτρα και ήταν στην τιμή των 9 ευρώ το άτομο με παραδοσιακά προϊόντα.

Excellent location, along the award-winning town square, in the heart of the fortress, and thus easy to walk to and from, yet at once very quiet and private. The hotel is charming architecturally speaking on both the outside and the inside, with historically furnished rooms and common areas. The hosts are kind and personable, and the breakfast they serve is quite original and just delicious!

Anbefales!

Theophano hotell er et koselig sted, med hyggelige eiere! Damen som hadde med renhold/frokos å gjøre var ei veldig god dame! -og veldig flink! Helt rent over alt!! Hotellet ligger litt fra hovedgata, og det er mye trapper, og høydeforskjeller, om du er dårlig til bens. Sengen var veldig god, og dusjen fungerte som den skulle. Vi valgte frokost en morgen, og det var egg, ost og hjemmelaget syltetøy, samt gresk rispudding. 9€ ekstra pr person. Vi hadde en privat terrasse, og det var også en flott takterasse der! Vi vil anbefale hotellet, og reiser gjerne tilbake!

Σε πολυ καλή τοποθεσία με όμορφη θέα σε θάλασσα και ησυχια, είναι ένα κατάλυμα που σε πηγαίνει πίσω στο χρόνο γιατί έχει κράτησει τα στοιχεία της τοπικής αρχιτεκτονικής και εντός των δωματίων. Πολύ καλή και φιλική και η οικοδέσποινα και το προσωπικό!! Απλά υπέροχο

Great location by the sea in Monemvasia

Incredible location by public swimming area. The hotel has a lovely roof top terrace available to guests. The proprietors built this wonderfully-situated property themselves years ago and are rightfully proud of it. They were welcoming and helpful orienting us around Monemvasia. Overall, our stay was very comfortable and our room was clean, secure and quiet. If they would upgrade their mattresses and pillows, I would rate it a 5.

Beautiful Place and lovely people

The Hotel is in front of the sea with a beautiful view of the little church. The Hosts are really welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is home made and delicious! The Castle is full of lovely restaurants, natural pools and ancient monuments. It is a relaxing place full of history. I was really happy with the room, service and place I will recommand this place completly!

Beautiful House

The Theophania is a beautifully restored house with charming hosts. We stayed in the Konstantin room which has a large terrace with a tiny bit of sea view from the terrace and the room was light an airy for a Monemvasia room.

ein außerordentliches Hotel in einem wunderbaren

mal wohnt wie zu Hause im 16. Jahrhundert mit dem modernen Komfort. Das Hotel liegt perfekt auf einem breiten Platz, es gibt kein Lärm, viel Licht und die Besitzerin ist sehr bemüht sicher zu stellen, daß Sie auch, Ihr Stadt lieben werden! Nur muss man wissen, daß es kein Autos, Mofas oder Fahrräder gibt. Man muss alles zu Fuß erledigen un es gibt viele Stufen in allen Gassen. Leicht reisen sonst muss man das Gepäck hoch und runter tragen! Wenn man rechtzeitig im Hotel angerufen hat organisiert Frau Theophano ein Transport für Gepäck mit Schubkarren! Es ist alles sehr exotisch aber unvergesslich.
