"The staff was incredible and always available to help. Breakfast was amazing -- you get to choose from a list of things you want and you can either eat upstairs or on your balcony. The rooms were always clean. The stairs to Ravello are right as you walk out -- it is a climb, but that is expected when you are staying on a hill. Perfect place to stay while in town!"
"Villa Amore is a very special hotel! The hotel room was charming and the view was one of the best I've ever had. The staff was so warm, kind, and quick to help. The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from the main square, so it was very convenient to get all over Ravello. This is not a negative on Villa Amore, but there is a wedding venue right next door to the hotel and we could hear music in the evening. It wasn't blaring and they cut it off at a respectful time, but just wanted to mention. Our room was the closest to it, so it might not be an issue for other rooms. Otherwise, I would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Ravello!"
"We had a sea view room - the view was lovely but the room itself was very dated and a bit dusty, with a coffee cup stained dresser and a shower that didn’t train well due to being clogged with hair. At first our door wasn’t secure - even when locked you could push it open. The maintenance man fixed the lock by pushing back the mechanism with his screwdriver! A temporary fix for sure.
The staff were lovely, very polite and helpful. The pool and terrace area was also very enjoyable, though there was one day we were unable to use the facilities due to a private party, so that meant having to pay more money to go elsewhere which was disappointing, and had this been disclosed at booking I would have booked a different hotel.
It was quite noisy at night due to local elections with speeches going on until 11pm, and the walls and ceilings at the hotel were paper thin - you could hear everything going next to you and above you, which woke my partner up at 5am each morning.
Overall it was a pleasant stay but if I were to return I would request a room in the renovated part of the hotel."
"This hotel is a Gem in Maiori. This is the second time I stayed @Hotel Sole Splendid and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! Our front sea view room was beautiful, with a comfy bed/pillows, and cozy linens; nice and clean bathroom, a balcony with a breathtaking view.
The buffet breakfast is amazing, it has everything, and the waiters are very nice, specially Antoinette and Gabriel. And ladt but not least, the A+ Reception Staff, Andreina, Natasha, Ida and Gaetano. Thank you guys for accommodating our requests and making our stay so delightful.
I will come back, and always recommend this charming hotel.
Until next time. Arrivedercci! 🇮🇹"
"We had a wonderful stay at this 4-star hotel in Ravello on the Amalfi Coast. Everything exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
The highlight was definitely the exceptional view — absolutely breathtaking and one of the best parts of staying in Ravello. We also really enjoyed the large outdoor swimming pool, which was perfect for relaxing and taking in the beautiful surroundings.
The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, making it a perfect place to enjoy the Amalfi Coast. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ravello"
"An absolutely stunning property with incredibly helpful staff. The only thing I would warn about is the distance from Sorrento (where I had booked our Viator tours out of.) I didn’t notice that detail when I booked through Hotels.com. It required a 20 euro ride to the train station and then a half hour ride on Trenitalia or Circumvesuviana. Then do the same upon return."
"The front office staff were very efficient and helpful. They communicated with us on an ongoing basis and were very helpful with directions and suggests as to how to get around the area. "
