「Fabulous idyllic property, lovely grounds and little places to sit and enjoy good weather. Lovely cosy room with a view and very comfortable bed. Great location and the breakfast was one of the best I ever had. Damien and Siobhan very welcoming and made our stay so good. An absolutely stress free and comforting environment.」

There are lovely sitting areas both outside on decking and inside the hotel with beautiful views of river. Fantastic staff. Good food in Dry Dock bar. 「Pretty nice place overall. The room was nice and overlooked the bay but it was hot and there was no a/c so we had to open the windows at night. When the bar closes there’s a lot of noise in the street from everyone talking so loudly. Still we had a great stay. 」

「The town of Arklow is a quaint, quiet little town, very walkable, a river nearby. The Hotels proprietor was a very friendly, kind, helpful man. Check in at the bar was quick, room was nicely renovated, it could have been the time of year but it was VERY quiet in the upstairs area, I felt like I was the only one staying there. There was a bountiful, delicious breakfast the next morning, a full Irish breakfast and I had a lovely chat with the barkeep....he had been working there for 50...
