My second time staying here. Located right in front of Yudolsan! Can’t beat that! Bathroom is large and there is a communal kitchen. All very clean. Will come back again, if I get a chance to visit Mokpo.

I'm really pleased I chose this place for my visit to Mokpo. I'm also very glad I went to Mokpo. It's a wonderful city! This guesthouse is close enough to almost everything you will want to see and do that you can walk to them. Even the train station is within walking distance. The location is perfect. But be prepared to climb many stairs or mountain roads to get where you want to go. The building is halfway up Yudalsan right beside the famous Ideungbawi. This makes climbing all the way to the top of the mountain easier but it also means you'll be climbing back to the guest house at the end of each day. The interior is simply decorated in very tasteful ways. The lights in the eating area subtly hold a seafaring theme. They hang from block pulley hardware. My room was in shades of grey and white, as was the bathroom. The rooms all have beautiful views overlooking the city. The city landscape changes with the weather, you will never tire of it. Breakfast comes with the room fee. Eggs, jam, bread, cereal, milk, coffee, and noodles are all available for you to prepare for yourself. Be sure to clean all of your dishes. At the ground level, the owner operates a coffee shop. This might cause a little confusion when you arrive. The owner is justifiably proud of what he has achieved. He is very kind and helpful, although english is limited. We communicated very well through Papago. I heartily recommend staying here when visting Mokpo!

Not a perfect location but nice overall

The room is pretty small but neat and tidy. It's located up the hill so please expect to walk uphill. I had a nice stay, especially they provide self-help breakfast which I can enjoy either Korean or Western style of breakfast.

This is in the Yudalsan Mountain region- I learned fast that you will need to climb steps/steep hills to get to this place. But being in this area put me near many major attractions in this area. Breakfast is self-serve (you need to cook your own eggs and wash your own dishes). The cafe has great smoothies but does not observe the posted hours. It was closed after 8 pm. The kitchen roof was leaking due to a lot of rain. Staff and room were great!

유달산 노적봉 바로 앞에 위치한 숙소입니다. 관광지로의 이동이 편리합니다. 목포역에서 숙소까지 도보 10분 정도로 이동 가능합니다.숙소에 오는 길에 유명한 식당이나 제과점이 위치해 있습니다. 숙소로 가는길이 오르막이라 다소 힘들긴 합니다만 숙소 바로앞의 노적봉 아래로 계단 따라 이동하면 노적봉예술공원 미술관, 목포 근대역사관(1관), 구 동양척식주식회사 목포지점 등의 관광지로 도보 이동가능합니다. 저는 아침을 잘 먹지 않는 관계로 이용하지 않았으나 무료조식 제공하며, 공용공간에 있는 드립커피 직접 내려 마실 수 있습니다. 숙소의 객실 내부, 화장실 청결 상태 좋았습니다. 다만 방음은 다소 약한 듯하여 아침무렵에는 외부 소리가 들려서 잠을 깨게 되었습니다. 숙소 위치나 시설, 객실 상태를 봤을 때 가성비 좋은 가격이라고 생각하며 다시 목포를 방문하게 되면 또 이용할 의향이 있습니다.

목포 여행에 완벽한 위치.

위치가 예술.완벽 그 자체. 노적봉 바로 옆~유달산 입구. 밤에 나가서 시내 야경보고 아침에는 유달산 산책 다녀온 후 숙소에서 차려준 맛있는 집밥 먹는 기분이 최고의 힐링입니다. 목포 어딜가나 코로나 때문인지 조용했지만 숙소 또한 매우 한적하게 쉴 수 있었습니다. 심지어 풀예약이라고 했는데 다들 조용해서 마치 저 혼자 인줄 ㅎㅎ

청결하고 편안한 목포 거점

주변부는 목포시내 특유의 세월감이 있었지만 내부는 호텔급. 사장님께서 손수 감각을 살려 애쓰신 흔적이 느껴지는 청결한 방이었습니다. 욕실이 환풍되는 구조가 아닌데 냄새나 물때가 하나도 없는걸보고 신경써서 관리하신다는 것을 알 수 있었어요 . 수건도 빳빳하게 잘 건조돼있었고.. 자세히 보면 에어컨 배관도 겉으로 드러나지 않게 벽에 묻어서 시공하시는 등 체계적인 꼼꼼함이 느껴졌습니다. 배려해주셔서 잘 지내고 갑니다. 딸려있는 카페는 시내가 한눈에 내려다보이는 뷰였어요.

Fantastic stay

The accommodation is better than the pictures and reviews. We can see the sunrise and sunset (curtain can black it out). The host is very friendly and kind. He speaks some English with us. We met his family and some friends. We had an amazing time in Mokpo and South West of Korea. We wish we could have stayed even longer. We booked one night and paid for another 2 nights. Literally next to several attractions and easy to taxi around.
