The lady running the check in was extremely rude. She asked if I wanted a smoking room and then when I said no I don’t smoke, she proceeded to insist I smoked and
Then said your from

Strange area. Nothing around. Good place if you don't wanna sleep in a car I suppose
The rooms are very clean and provide the necessary comforts. Refridge, wifi, comfortable bed.The TV channel selection during the week was poor and the shower water could have bnen warmer. For the cost of staying there it was a bargain. The host was very pleasant and saw to all our needs without us having to ask.
It was a serviceable Motel when we needed one. I was very glad we found a last minute place when our tent was ruined in some high winds.
The water pressure in the shower is amazing, was great for getting the camping dust out of my long hair. However the shower floor tile had bad mildew and the old curtain let water leak all over the floor.
Overall the boron Motel is inexpensive and served us well in a pinch, but overall it’s pretty rundown and would not be my first choice in the area.
Your basic, run of the mill, small town hotel. Didn’t expect anything fancy, but a cup for water would have been nice. TV came on but couldn’t change the channel or adjust the volume.

The staff were very nice, the grounds were well cared for, the room was clean. Therefore, I feel a little guilty only giving 3 stars. However, It was a very hot day (105*+), and the AC could not bring the temp down to even 80* in the room after about 2.5 hours. The suite bedroom (separate room for bed 2) was not getting any AC at all. The refrigerator was not working, but the small freezer was. We had just arrived on motorcycles having driven in the very hot desert from Trona Pinnacles and needed to rest in a cool place, and stock up on cool drinks. Neither could happen, so we cancelled our second night. If it were late Fall, Winter, or Spring I would stay there...and have only good things to say about everything but the temperature in the room and refrigerator. So, seasonally subjective.
OK this and many other of the businesses in downtown Boron are from days past they are not new. That said, people are very friendly. The room I had was small, but comfortable and clean. The lady who checked me in is very pleasant and easy to get along with. So it is not the Hilton. I didn’t want to stay at the Hilton. I just wanted to place that was comfortable and quiet and close walking distance to the restaurant which is like two blocks away people they were very nice. So yes I would do it again if I’m ever in that area .
The room was ant infested and I was awakened by a bed bug crawling on me. It was very disgusting. I left in the middle of the night. I tried calling the front desk and I went there but apparently they were sleeping. No answer!
For what is available in Boron this is a pleasant surprise. Clean and neat with simple amenities. Make sure you eat at the 20 mule team café just a block away. You get a real "taste" for the town with good-eats!
I was surprisingly pleased at the way the room was it may not have been quite as cleaning as I would have hoped but it was close but I really really was comfortable there the woman that checked me in was more than pleasant nice and informative it was overall one of the better experiences I've had at a motel

Disappointing given this time of Covid that there was dust on the furniture. Otherwise it was fine for a quick night sleep after traveling.

Nice little motel for a short stay.
Nice little motel. Great for a night ir two. Bathroom could use an update but it appeared they were working on rooms as doing just that during my visit. Safe parking off the road. Close walking distance to the two (both good) restaurants in town. In short I would stay there again
I arrived around 9:30 at night, didn't give notice I'd be late like usual since I was driving. Front door was locked but the owners/front desk was right there to buzz me in. Nice room, quiet street...right across from the BNSF mainline so trains might wake you up if you're a light sleeper. I'd stay there again though.
The room was as I expected: small, no frills, but clean and plenty of A/C. The buildings look like they date from the 1920s and have been well-maintained and upgraded. I could hear the trains passing, but the sound was not so loud as to be annoying.
Small room but clean & furniture matched. Desk clerk not friendliest but efficient. All amenities of larger motel incl micro & frig plus coffee maker & hair dryer. Only neg is towels very thin.
Everything was good , except for the train that drive thru early on the morning, I was able to back to sleep, but some people might not be able to go back to sleep.
