Perfect stay in Modena
This was an amazing stay. Great location in the heart of the city. Beautiful hotel. Wonderful services. The host greeted us and offered us an espresso. The room was very quaint and nice. I would highly recommend.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Modena. I had trouble finding it, through no fault of the property or the directions app, and the wonderful manager helped me with directions and even came out to find me and directed me to a parking spot in front. Our ro9m was absolutely beautiful, and the location was amazing. If/when I come back to Modena, this will by very first choice to stay!

This was the nicest place to stay. IT was the original old style Italy with all the modern convinces. The staff was above and beyond. The rooms were super clean. The courtyards were so beautiful. This is HIGHLY recommended to stay.

A gem in Modena
I only have the best things to stay about our stay. The room was amazing and Benedetta was the ultimate host. She was so kind and so helpful. We loved being in such an historical and special building. We also had our small French Bulldog with us and he was so welcome and taken care of.

A Magical Stay
Salotto delle Arti is nothing short of magical. Our room was magnificent, with a gorgeous chandelier, beautiful paintings and double-height ceiling. We received a very warm welcome from Benedetta and she helped us with parking as soon as we arrived. Breakfast was excellent with lots of fresh choices. We can't wait for our next visit.

A very quaint little guesthouse, hidden away, and wonderful upon entry. Everything was spot on, and if your visit is of the culinary kind, as ours was, i dont Think its possible to stay any closer to Signore Botturas wonderful restaurant

If you are looking for a nice gated and safe location that has good sized rooms right next to Osteria Francescana, this is it. It’s literally a 100 foot walk. Parking is a bit tricky, but the staff walks you through it. Gorgeous rooms and security cards to enter each doorway after reception desk closes (7:30). Ballroom for breakfast is gorgeous.

The Converted Palace
Bernadetta was extremely welcoming and personalised our stay in varying ways. The property is a little like trying to access fort knox although Bernadetta simplifies the task by sending through the required codes and instructions. We loved the styling in the dining room with antiques purposefully placed and the magnificent Murano chandelier commanding all the attention. The breakfast is a must to made mention, simply delicious especially the magnificent Torta di Mandorle (Italian Almond cake) certainly the sight and taste a permanently memory. Bernadetta recommended her favourite leather goods shop and we encountered a memorable experience shopping there.

The best place to stay in Modena!
What can I say about this beauty?! My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in Modena on our 2 week vacation, and this was our favorite hotel of the whole trip by a long shot. The photos are lovely but truly don't do it justice. Definitely remember to contact the hotel a couple days prior to checking in to arrange it, as the location is a little obscure in the small streets. Google maps will get you most of the way there, but look at the numbers on the side of the buildings to reach your final door. The room was absolutely stunning. All the ceilings and walls are hand painted so beautifully. The breakfast was delicious and light, and the service was wonderful. We didn't rent a car, but it's only about a 15 minute walk from the train station. Like most small Italian towns, everything shuts down for a couple hours in the afternoon. If you are arriving in those off hours, make sure that you have eaten because finding a meal will be difficult (though not impossible). This location was very quiet. We were in Modena during a music festival and weren't at all bothered by noise when we decided to turn in. This hotel felt absolutely decadent, and I really hope to be back there in the future.

Wonderful stay in charming Modena bed & breakfast
We had a fabulous stay at the Salotto delle Arti hosted by Benedetta, the bed and breakfast owner. Salotto delle Arti is beautiful; Benedetta told us it was a former palace for a 15th century (?) wealthy Italian family. The ceilings are high with big beautiful windows. The rooms are very large, with equally large bathrooms & showers, excellent air conditioning, mini fridge, tv with satellite channels, beautiful antique armoire, couch chairs & coffee table. Benedetta provides a small toiletry kitcif shampoo & soaps daily, and the room includes teas with an electric teapot. We were more comfortable here than some of the hotels we stayed in. It is perfectly located within a 5 minute walk to the main piazza. Osteria Francescana (world famous Michelin Star chef Massimo Bottura) morning right down the block as well as another Michelin rated restaurant Ristorante Zelmira. Benedetta is a wonderful, warm & attentive host who prepares a big delicious breakfast spread of many types of croissants, breakfast pastry, locals cured meats, fruit, juices and teas/coffee/cappuccino. She offers to help you arrange reservations & gives directions and maps for your stay. She was such a great host! We hope to return to Modena some day as our trip this time was too short.

The stay in Salotto della Arti was wonderful. The room was large and stylish, with an incredibly high ceiling. It was just like you have been back in time staying in a classy chamber. The service and the breakfast were also great. Staying only one night for our stay was just too short, and I would hope for a longer stay in future when my wife and I visited Modena again.

Once you figure out how to get into the property, this is a charming retrofitted B&B. Very accommodating staff and decent room. Breakfast was just OK, but enough to get us on our way the next morning.

A wonderful characterful b&b, great for exploring Modena in foot and on the doorstep of Osteria Francescana. We arrived early and were allowed to check in before noon as our room was available. Bernadette gave us some helpful tips and a map of Modena to help us find the best places to go. We enjoyed the local treats at breakfast and appreciated the plush surroundings complete with chandeliers and high ceilings. The room was well appointed with a host of choices in the mini fridge. The bathroom was modern and clean and our Teatro room overlook the courtyard of the building. We found the bed comfortable and the temperature was spot on during our stay. We appreciated the free WiFi which we were able to connect to with no problems and the connection was good. All in all, a lovely and reasonably priced gem in the heart of a beautiful town.

Elegant stay in Modena
This is the prettiest place we have stayed in a long time. Our room as well as the breakfast room and the office area are the very elegant rooms of a former private residence. Mosaic terrazzo floors, fine decorated painted ceilings, lovely Venetian chandelier in the breakfast room. The bathroom was beautiful multicolor blue tiles. The bed was comfortable but like most Italian beds, a bit firmer than my own. Breakfast was lovely with choice of several pastries, ham, cheese, and yogurt. Parking is covered by a pass issued by Benedetto the manager. She is very helpful and thoughtful. She helped us with several recommendations. We had a lovely stay and would love to return.
