「The Sportslander is just what I expected, an older motel that had all the basics covered. The room was older style, clean and on the end of a 10 day straight run of over 40 deg temps the pool and aircon did the job, the bed was comfy, there was no noise and had a good night sleep. For a budget one night stay, it did the job very well. 」

Staff keep you updated via text message on daily activities/food vans etc which is very convenient. A couple minor things - there is not a lot of crockery or glassware, which is odd but a cheap and easy fix. Also would have expected some more activities, particularly over a long weekend. 「When we booked this place we were expecting from the description on expedia a hotel in a resort with all the facilities described. Unfortunately for us it was a suburban 2 bed unit nothing like the description. The property needs maintenance and a good clean. Some lights not working blinds were disgusting tiny bathroom cobwebs everywhere and many crawling insects. Unable to get local tv stations. Extremely disappointed for the money we paid.
