Overall was a pretty nice stay, clean, quiet motel away from main street. Staff was helpful, too.
The only issue I had was related to the kitchenette. I chose this motel specifically because of the advertised kitchenette. The room was described as "Room, 2 Queen Beds, Kitchenette", however the kitchen had only a microwave and no other heating device. What kind of kitchen is that?
Staff provided me with a small countertop electric burner, pot and pan, but those were not really ideal for making my breakfast due to mismatched sizes. Also add the fact there is no kitchen vent or hood and the smoke detector is located right next to the kitchen and you find yourself in an position where it's difficult to cook anything without the door open and A/C fan going full speed to move the air around. They need to change the room description and clearly indicate the "kitchenette" is not really meant for cooking anything.
