"Excellent traditional experience, onsen is great and the traditional food sets (both breakfast and dinner) are very nice. Only problems I had overall were maintaince going on during my stay (landscaping and some light building work), and some parts of the building are showing their age (especially in the onsen and lobby areas). Bonus note, some of the hole in the wall restaurants nearby are excellent and the rual area nearby is great for a break from the big cities (it has that fresh air...

"Old fashioned Japanese hotel, but clean environment. Free coffee on arrival and light breakfast was offered. Open air onsen was very nice Only issue was, there was no toilet inside the room which things a bit interesting at night when the human nature was calling. "Very smart and comfortable accommodation with excellent facilities inc washing machine with a fast setting. Lots of places to eat in the area but you cannot beat the little cafe just 20m away on the same side of the street for great tasting food and excellent value. "

"The staff was really helpful and helped me with the lock and ordered a taxi for me. I just use it for one night and I wanted it to be close to the airport. the limited options without a car was a lot less important to me than the nice mattress abd the non smoking policy."
