Room was not ready at check in. Wrong key several times, wrong room type 3 times and finally the last room had no bedding nor comforter. After four tries at correcting the issues and finally getting a room, without the bed prepared or a comforter, with a non-working phone and foul odor, I left the property and found a different hotel. The issues at check in combined with the poor room condition left me feeling uneasy with the motel and its staff. I was happier losing the booking fee and paying for a night in a different hotel.

The room stank of a very pungent cleaning product, burned our eyes and we felt it in our sinuses. Our clothes stink of it. The towels were tattered and had black dirty spots on them and other discolored stains. Got new towels and theywere marginally better. Hot water lasted maybe five minutes, not enough for two people to shower back to back.

The fire alarm battery in the room was not changed and beeped all night until I removed the device and stuck it in my car & brought it to the office in the morning. There was blood drops on a wash cloth & towel in the room. The desk clerk was very busy on a phone call that appeared to be personal. I had verbal contact giving her my name and she verbally showed me the room but the rest of the personal interaction was her taking care of what ever matter was happening via phone. The floor in the room could have used a mopping. The price was affordable and we were just sleeping til early morning hours so it worked for the price.

Nicely updated rooms. The location couldn’t be better in Missoula. I think the owners name is Roy, he is as very friendly. There was a really cold night before my check-out. My locks froze in my truck so when I was getting ready to check-out I realized I couldn’t get in my truck. I had to go get some lock de-over which made me run late checking out. He was super understanding it was much appreciated. I’ll stay here again.

Double charged due to inexperienced staff. We weren’t sure if I’d paid thru Expedia, so he charged my credit card and said come back in the morning to sort it out. There was NO staff available in the morning, through noon! No way to call hotel…. VERY poor customer service. I’m hoping I can sort this out before I have to make a claim on my credit card!

The heat in the room did not respond to turning up the thermostat resulting in a frigid nights sleep at 58 degrees in the room. The bed blanket was thin resulting in one of the guests sleeping in their coat. The black grout in the bathroom might have been unsealed as it stained the guests socks with black marks. Great location and appeared to be clean. Could have utilized a mirror in the main room. One guest had to put make up on in the car since the other guest was in the bathroom shower where the only mirror was. But the car mirror was a warm benefit.
