Basic hotel. Most rooms are of decent size. Most showers are very small and the bathrooms are narrow. During my stay room was very clean. Plenty of toiletries. It appeared that recent fresh paint, maintenance and repairs have been made in parts of the hotel. Minori is small and not a lot to do, but I would assume most will use it like I, as an inexpensive base to explore the Amalfi Coast. The bus does stop directly in front of the hotel, but unless you are traveling very early of very late take the ferry. It is more enjoyable and will get you there faster. The ferry is a 5-10 minute walk depending on how fast you walk. I had a room with a balcony, they are good sized and I did spend evening hours with snacks and drinks on the balcony.
There is road noise, but not excessive and it did not bother me that much. I would say that the biggest short coming is the vey small showers in many rooms. The second biggest is the limited front desk time for checking in. You will get notices about it and some reviews complain about not getting a room when they arrived late. However, both nights I stayed there I saw the owner checking in people after the check-in cut off. I would assume if you speak Italian, you can make arrangements for a later check in, but do not depend on it. There is no elevator, so if you cannot wrestle luggage it will be an issue, but this is almost always the situation with older hotels in Europe. The restaurant and bar shown in pictures is no longer operating.
