This hotel has been our go to for the past 3yrs. Kids love the pool and we are close to family. This time we got a room RIGHT OUTSIDE the pool area!! That was a great thing for us- swam a lot!! We tried to us the vending machine for swim goggles and they got stuck. The staff out front worked with us and got us some googles!!
We had a great couple of days as a mom and me staycation. The water park area what great! I love that the pool is no deeper than 3ft6in. My 9 year old is tiny for her age and it was great she could swim and do the slide so easily.
The only downfall to no fault of the hotel itself was the teens running down the halls very late. Almost till midnight.
The staff was so friendly and helpful with anything we needed! We will definitely come back for another staycation…maybe not over spring break though! 😂
About $50-$60 pricier than neighboring hotels. You’re paying for the pool area, which is entertaining for under 10 yr olds. Otherwise, the hotel is worn down. Several of our bath and pool towels were unraveling, hallways reek of cigarette smoke. Onsite restaurant had sizable menu. Food was better than expected.
Our room had a musty smell and was very humid. Also we were put in an ADA room which had no counter space - I wish we were told that prior to making the reservation as the photos we looked at did not reflect the bathroom we got.
We accidentally left 2 shopping bags at the back entrance when loading the car and forgot about them until much later that day. When I called the front desk they had them in the office and had even taken the wet swimsuits out and hung them to dry.
