unfortunately it was a stay to play hotel for the tournament we attended, but I will never stay there again. The hotel doesnt have AC, you have to open the windows, if you are from Florida you know that we cant live out AC. The hotel lobby's ceiling was falling off due to water damage. Just weird vibe.

We were in town for a volleyball tournament. When checking in, there were a lot of people, but only 1 person working the desk and he was also trying to train a new associate. This young man, curly black hair and mustache (I didn’t get his name) was the saving grace of this whole experience. He went over and above and was very professional with the checking in chaos. The major downside was there was no AC in the rooms. Each room was over 75 degrees with the hallways being extremely warmer than the room. Luckily the windows opened up a little bit.

I had a very uncomfortable stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Minneapolis Downtown. The room was excessively hot, and it felt like the heating system was constantly running with no way to cool it down. I was told there were limited fans available, which didn’t really solve the problem. There was also a maintenance issue with the tub, which leaked very hot water continuously. This not only made the bathroom uncomfortable but seemed like a serious waste of water. While the breakfast was decent, the overall experience was disappointing due to the room conditions and the level of customer service I encountered.

The room was clean. The fridge and microwave were nice to have. The cookies were a nice touch. The beds were not comfortable. I felt like I was at an angle and the mattress felt like it was on a board. We were there 4 nights and only had our trash taken and fresh towels once. I had to call multiple times to get towels and trash out. Our beds were never made. The restaurant/bar was closed most of our stay and when it was open, they did not have a cook and limited stock of beverages. Definitely opportunities for improvement.

Overnight staff was so rude , first did not even look up from his phone when we arrived. When we were showering and watching a movie and they called and told us if we keep making noise they were going to call the police and have us escorted out at 3AM, we were on the 8th floor and he said he could hear us from the lobby ? On top of that skink handle was broken, the shower was freezing on the hottest level, window was so dirty could barely see out of it. And when my car was in there parking lot, my trunk handle “weirdly” got broken so now I cannot open my trunk even tho upon arrival we had no issue. We were supposed to check out Sunday and left Saturday instead ! Staff could not even care why.We will never stay there again ! Never felt so uncomfortable somewhere in my life . I personally don’t recommend staying here ! :)

The hallways were extremely warm, like bake in the summer heat warm. Or almost like a sauna. Our hot water in the bathroom sink did not work. But, my husband loved the chocolate chip cookies and the staff members were super nice and friendly.

The thermostat didn't work, soaping water on the carpet outside the room from a leaky ice machine, hallways like a sauna so hot and mattress were bad. The staff was going to give us money back but because o booked through a 3rd party they couldn't. Am I able to get money back through Expedia?

I was in town for a funeral. The staff and rooms were nice. The down side was the room my mother and grandmother was in had no hot water. They didn’t know that until they was getting dressed for the funeral. I did let the staff know when I was checking out and was told all they could do was offer me some points on my Hilton Honors because I booked through a third party. And I still haven’t received any points.

Very friendly staff. Gave free fresh warm cookies upon check-in. Parking garage was pretty sketch and was an extra $30. There is no free parking near the hotel.

We had no hot water. We were told to let the water run for over 15 minutes. It ran for over hour, and still no hot water. Other guests let their dog poop on sidewalk in front of door. Hours of breakfast-lunch should stay open until noon in my opinion.

Staff was nice. Rooms are nice. Parking ramp attached to hotel. The door from the parking garage to the hotel has a buzzer that’s broken.l but you don’t know it. Just sit there buzzing forever. You have to walk around to the front and this is annoying to do with luggage when it’s -5 degrees outside. Staff said “yeah, it’s broken, sorry…” Should probably fix that especially when charging $30/night to park.
