Very friendly receptionist. Excellent located within walking distance from the train station. The room was a bit small that we stayed.

Older property but clean and comfortable with big rooms In a lovely area next to river which was a nice walk , walking distance to shopping area and restaurants

Great location. Older style hotel and our initial room was very poor and we were moved to an excellent room because the air conditioning didn’t work in the first one. The second room had excellent beds, aircon and space. The staff service was impeccable, particularly Miss Watanabe as she helped us with many things like booking restaurants and finding a good Onsen. The breakfast staff were also wonderful as were the cleaning staff and others at reception. The hotel is old but obviously some rooms are renovated. If you get one of the newer rooms you will have a good experience.

While the property is a little dated, the rooms are clean. I booked a total of 3 rooms for my family for a 2-night stay and we got the corner units where the rooms were very spacious. The location is very close to Niigata Station which makes it easy for sightseeing whether you are traveling by trains or buses. There are also lots of restaurants and convenient stores in the area so you will not have problems finding a place to fill your belly. :)

Stayed for 2 nights. I understand the property will be going through renovations from Jan-Mar 2025 so it hopefully addresses some of the dated elements. Staff were really friendly. The public bath (Onsen) was nice. The mattress the hardest in all the Japan hotels we stayed at. The area is close to the Train station and it’s leas than 5 mins to tons of restaurants.
