"We booked this hotel very close to our travel and were skeptical due to it’s isolated location. Our stay was wonderful, staff is very kind and helpful. Shuttle service makes it breeze to go back and forth to town. Location is very scenic and has good trails. We were lucky to get sunny morning and were able to clearly see majestic Mt. Fuji from the hotel. We will definitely recommend and use this place when return to the area. "

"Worth turning a blind eye to the tired condition of this hotel for the views and set dining experience. Our family of three came away with great memories staying here, waking up to epic lake and Mt. Fuji views, the large, Japanese-style family room we had on our second of two nights, friendly staff and convenient shuttle to Kawaguchiko bus station. The public bath was a fun experience for us, particularly with the Fuji view while soaking. The hotel entrance makes it feel like it's a luxury hotel, but the room we had on the first night, in particular, was shabby with missing handles, chipped and worn furniture, toilet seat partially detached, and just all-round tired fixtures and fittings. Food was superb. "
