「Staffer's were courteous, respectful, and extremely friendly. Breakfast was second to none and hospitality was superb. House keeping was excellent with daily cleaning and garbage disposal. Although, my wife and I don't drink alcohol, the bar tenders were very friendly. The front lobby/waiting area and the reading room with the fireplace was absolutely stunning. 「Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Canal side Inn. So did my furry companion Frankie, who was well greeted by the owners and other pets alike. Guests were equally friendly, those with 2 feet. The room was lovely for a single traveler and dog. 「The hotel is really old, which probably explains the poor soundproofing. The bedding was also super uncomfortable, so I didn’t sleep well at all. Worse, I woke up with red rashes all over my body. Compared to other hotels nearby, this place is just not worth the price. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it. 」
