"The positives: Both Check in and Check out were easy and smooth and the staff was lovely. The hotel is close to the train station and conveniently located. My room was very clean and quiet, which I appreciated. But- and this is a big deal- when I pulled back the cover on the bed, the bottom sheet was put on inside out, and both sheets were so wrinkled and bumpy they looked as if they’d been left in a ball after being dried. The threadbare pad underneath was rumpled and sliding off, the sheet did not fit the mattress and so was not covering it completely, and the feather duvet was so old it had flattened into a pancake and was ripped on one corner so feathers were actually spilling out. In fact it was so flat that at first I thought it was another sheet and was about to call the desk to ask for a blanket. Then I held it up to the light and saw clusters of limp feathers here and there. The pillows were folded into lumps with the cases tucked inside and everything reeked of so much bleach I got dizzy. (At least they were clean.) I was really surprised and have never seen something like this in a hotel with a good reputation. I don’t blame the staff because they are working with sub par supplies here. But the head of housekeeping needs to do a linen inventory and the hotel needs to invest in new sheets, mattress pads, and duvets. After a long day of travel a comfortable well made bed is important, and this was truly a hot mess. I wouldn’t go back. "

"Not a bad hotel, other than the 2 fire alarms that went off at 11pm and then 2am that stayed on for an hour (no fire or smoke either case). No sleep really sucked… "

"The staff as a whole appeared to not be very knowledgeable about pricing of their pantry items, charging differently each time either of our group went. Staff at the welcome desk appeared to have more interest with their fellow employees than customers. Not welcoming at all. The only pleasant experience was breakfast."
