「We booked a room last minute as we had a flight cancellation and got into Newfoundland late. The shuttle was very quick to pick us up at midnight and get us to our room. When we checked in we were greeted by a very nice front desk agent. Our room was good, we did find someone else’s hair accessories, but other than that it was clean and comfortable. The provided shampoo is a good quality, so that was a nice surprise. Breakfast was good, they had a nice selection and a good amount of seating....

「Beautiful well maintained Historic Bed and Breakfast. Easy walking to all downtown features and Signal Hill. Directly accross from a beautiful park.」

「Wistful location and a beautiful room. Very large with a nice sitting area, decorated with a spa like touch. Very comfy bed, waffle towels and bathrobe. Local toiletries to make you feel connected to the area. Conveniently located across the street from one of the best restaurants in St John’s the Mallard Cottage. An authentic experience all around with a luxury touch!」

「Clean room, quiet. close to shopping on water Street, bonus that when we arrived before check-in time and we were able to utilize the parking garage and not have to pay for parking on the street.」

「一間國際油名的酒店, 在整體管理及房間清潔低於一般水平. 我住兩晚, 竟然沒有人清潔房間,廢紙箱內仍然有垃圾, 沒有更新毛巾, 及收拾床舖, 查問前台人員, 竟然對答時執房的政策是alternative day收拾房間, 即是我住兩晚不會有清理房間的服務. 早上在大堂升降機與一名應該是酒店的管理人員一同乘搭, 升降機地面有水漬, 我跟他說有水漬, 他只是笑一笑, 我回來再乘搭升降機時竟然沒有清潔. 其次所謂歐陸式早餐, 冇乜選擇, 咖啡非常普通, 將預製食物翻熱, 只係讚的是,工作人員清潔台面十分努力, 對這間酒店有少少失望.」

「The staff make this place special. Returning to the Murray is like coming home. We have returned 5 years in a row. Again as great as this place is the staff make the MP special.」

「The room did not appear as the picture advertised. There was a smell of urination in the room. The place is outdated in need of redo. The air conditioner was very loud and we had to unplug it in order to sleep at night. The TV did not work. When I voiced these concerns to the staff, it was brushed aside with a comment "yes that has been said before". The area was unsafe to walk in. I would not recommend this place.」

「Liked: room size and layout; easy parking and access; closet layout. Clean Disliked: room fan/ac/ heat was impossibly loud making it difficult to sleep- hear the tv or even carry on a conversation. (Room 406) -1 for that issue. Desk staff were unhelpful and not typical of my previous NL experiences. Over a 4 night stay, we engaged at check in/out and 3 questions - they couldn’t care less and were of no help.」

「The TV did not work, the phone did not work, electronic foor lock did not work, the property was run down and unkept, the room was dated with damaged furniture and equipment, no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The room was very expensive and they charged $25.00 per day for parking. Over rated and over priced. There are far better hotels in St John’s for less money. Don’t stay here!」
