My family just needed a place to sleep while we made our way to another destination in Italy. We are so happy to have chosen the Hotel Dore. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were so helpful and nice to us. And, they make a wonderful breakfast, including a top-notch cappuccino!

Perfecto!
Easy to get to as Metro Line 1 is right outside. Super clean, friendly staff, elevator, comfortable beds, and included a great breakfast.

Good experience.
Very clean; a little hard to find at first. Easy walk from train station. Small but adequate size room. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Good breakfast.

I would not recommend
The room walls were very dirty. The front house staff were not polite and the guy was dressed badly and no greeting at all. Never again, I have been to smaller hotels with nicer attitudes and better rooms

Nice hotel in a good location (about 10 min walk from train station) with many good eating/drinking options within a 5 minute walk. Room was clean and well maintained.

Good hotel with food and shopping next door.
I arrived late due to a taxi wildcat strike. I walked from the Centrale station and though it took quite some time, the hotel clerk checked me in very quickly. The room was clean and pleasant. Air-conditioning worked very well and the desk agent got me a cab in 5 minutes. Good, safe place with food and shopping next door.

One of the smallest rooms I've ever seen
I was here for a night by myself. It's a good location right next to one of the main subway lines and close to the main train station and the lobby is nice but the room was as tiny as a monk's cell and it wasn't exactly cheap either. Also, I had messaged ahead of time about checking in early but the request was either not seen or ignored.

Bed bugs, no complimentary water at the lobby, terrible AC. Dirty towels. Not recommended to stay. You can find better place for the same price.

Dear customer, I'm sorry to contradict you but what you write in this review is not real at all in our structure the rooms are cleaned and sterilized every day and there is not even a room with bedbugs maybe mosquitoes but you know there is a big difference, usually we also give away the first bottle of water used in the mini fridge in the room.best regards

The staff were excellent. The hotel is very clean. There was a bad storm one night and the was a leak in the room. We reported and the room was cleaned and the water mopped up immediately. The AC was noisy so we turned it off at night. One night there was a music and shouting from the street until after midnight. The hotel is good value for money There are places to eat, supermarkets and Metro nearby

Room: when bookng their quadruple room, make sure to specify the number of occupants as they charge not by the type of room but by number of person who will occupy it. I paid in advance for the room but was asked to pay for the additional occupants plus tax. Beds: received 3 beds only on the quadruple room (1 queen and 1 single). Was provided the additional single bed after requesting. Airconditioning: they turn it off mid of the day and the room gets too hot and was told to open the windows. The only hotel we encountered to do such. So whenever we go out, it’s too hot when we return to the room. Shower: poor drain system. It fills up if you keep the water running. Breakfast: Basic but enough. You have to ask them to make your coffee. Reception: Not friendly unlike all the other hotels we stayed. Location: 15 minutes walk to Milan Central Station. Closest Metro is Loreto where you can use to reach Duomo/Milan Cathedral. Safe area and close to take out food, grocery and shops.

Great hotel
Nice hotel in a great location. Everything was perfect with my 2-day stay. It is super clean and breakfast is very good. Room has everything except the limited space! It’s highly recommended and will come again!

the customer arrived very earlyI inform you even if it is already written on the reservation that check-in cannot be done before 2.00 pmand only for this he made a nasty comment already during the stayIn any casethe client asked to enter the room in advance more than once,.We have provided luggage storage even more than expected both outward and return for free...We tried in every way to do our best but apparently he had already decided that our behavior was not good. On his departure he was politely asked to pay 8 euros for the tourist tax and he REFUSED TO PAY saying he had no money,was let go without any discussion and also writes a bad review.

OK hotel, nothing nice or really bad about it. The A/C or heat system didn't work well we had to keep windows open, and it was noisy outside to get a good night sleep. Room and bathroom were pretty small and the safe was not working. Good thing is very close to a metro station and there is a supermarket close by. Some restaurants in walking distance.

Clean, great location, somewhat outdated
The location is good, about 15 minutes walk from the central station. The Metro is very close by. The room was small but had everything I needed, and was clean. The breakfast was better than what I had expected and the staff was very friendly. On the negative side, the hotel is kind of outdated and feels somewhat institutional (bright lights, lots of tiles). Nonetheless it was a good deal.

Handy to cafes and shopping
Hotel Dore is a cute little hotel just off a main shopping street in Central Milan. We love the Loreto station area, and wanted one very close to the Metro this time. Hotel Dore is small and a bit dated, but the room was spotless and comfortable, and the breakfast was simple but plentiful. We enjoyed the family atmosphere.

Unfortunately you made a mistake in booking, because you were convinced that you had booked for November 15th, instead you made a mistake in booking, having booked for November 14th. the day you arrived, i.e. 15/11, you just had to make a new reservation, because the one for 14/11 had already passed. I told you that the price was different, because the prices change every day based on availability. unfortunately you wanted to sleep for free because you were convinced that the reservation made for 14/11 should also be valid on 15/11.When you book without reading the conditions or without being informed, I strongly advise you not to leave and stay at home because otherwise this mistake could happen

Comfortable and convenient
This was a nice little hotel well located near the train station and with plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was very quiet and breakfast very enjoyable. No frills, but a nice accommodation.

I booked a queue bed or two twin bed room at this hotel on October 4, 2022. When checkin with my wife, the front desk people said I only booked for one people for the room and need to pay addition $67 for my wife. I explained to the front desk person that I booked a two person room, why should I pay more for my wife. He is not try to help at all. I am sorry to say what a terrible experience at this hotel.

Booked it for one night only before taking the train to the airport so it did what it had to do! All the rooms are either near the elevator or the staircase, soundproofing is meh. Room itself was fine, good shower pressure in bathroom. Breakfast was decent!
