Top Mikurigaike Pond Hotel Reviews
Holiday Inn Resort Kuroyon by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed here one night on the way up the Alpine route. Everything was just perfect here, from the excellent breakfast spread, onsen facilities, the wellkept grounds to the warm hospitable service at the front desk. Wish I’d spent a few more days here to relax."
Hotel Keisui
10/10 Excellent
"This is a fantastic option for starting or ending your Alpine route journey. Loved the serenity of the location, facility & service. Onsens on site; some rooms have private baths. Chose the half board rate, and the experience of a multi-course dinner and full service breakfast was well worth it!"
Hotel Morinokaze Tateyama
10/10 Excellent
"My wife and I had a very pleasant two-night stay at Hotel Tateyama. We stayed one night before our Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route trip and another night after returning, and both stays were excellent. The hotel is very well maintained and offers a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. One of the highlights was the large mosaic-tiled onsen spa. The design is beautiful and reminds me of an aquarium. It has two levels, and the layout is thoughtfully planned so that different sections are not directly visible from one another, creating a greater sense of privacy and seclusion. The outdoor bath offers a wonderful view of the Tateyama mountains. We visited in early June, and enjoying the gentle early-summer breeze while soaking in the onsen was truly memorable. The service was exceptional. On the morning of our departure for the Alpine Route, the reception manager was incredibly courteous and helpful. Although the hotel normally provides a shuttle connection to Tateyama Station, we were departing around noon after the busy morning period. He personally drove us to the station and even helped us exchange our Alpine Route tickets. When we returned for our second stay, another reception manager recognized that we had stayed at the hotel just the night before. He had already prepared our registration information, saving us the trouble of filling out the forms again, and warmly thanked us for returning. These thoughtful touches made us feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated."
HOTEL LA VIGNE HAKUBA by Onko Chishin
10/10 Excellent
"One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Room was excellent with an amazing Mountain View. Full amenities and top notch service. Staff goes above and beyond and are personable and friendly, even as English speaking tourists. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect mix of made to order hot dishes along with a large spread of buffet items. The best hotel in Hakuba if you want a luxurious and relaxing experience."

"Beautiful hotel and excellent dining experience. Loved the freshly grated wasabi! There was an earthquake during our stay but had not affect the hotel operations. Will definitely come back again."
Condominium Hakuba Goryu
8/10 Good
"Great slope side access. Basic accommodations, but staff are very friendly and helpful, and room was clean. "
Hakuba Ryujin Onsen RYOKAN SUI
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing staff very attentive and helpful. The room, the onsen are very clean and well maintained. The food was amazing. Steps from a couple of conbinis and good restaurants. Only slight downside is that it’s a bit of a walk (20 min) or a short drive to Goryu ski resort. It’s a 15min cab ride to Happo. Didn’t find the public buses to be as easy or convenient to use so we used cabs or walk."

10/10 Excellent
"We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff is wonderful, kind, and very helpful for getting around Hakuba! It’s very close to Goryu and several restaurants. They also serve dinner and breakfast there if you don ’t want to go out, and the food truck outside is a big plus. It was great to have a quiet accommodation near the slopes. The dry room has a spot to place your ski equipment as well. "
Courtyard by Marriott Hakuba
10/10 Excellent
"Property was amazing. Staff was kind enough to accommodate my request for a private onsen room. Which I should have booked initially but didn't realize was an option. Shuttle bus stop at the front door will take you to various ski resorts in the area. Staff is excellent, helpful, kind. Restaurant is great! Had use of a ski locker as well. Full locker, not just a place to hang skus and poles. "
