"Great base to explore the National Park, enjoyed our meal (a treat) at the on-site Hell-Yers Restaurant. Very glad we’d booked that in advance! The breakfast hamper worked well for us to be able to cook our own breakfast in the morning, before heading on to our next destination. "We had a family weekend stay for our first trip to Tassie. I really liked how quirky this accommodation looked and it didnt disappoint. Old brick building, beautiful beams, gorgeous door in keeping with its older style. We were in the section by reception and noise was not an issue (I'd been a little concerned by some other reviews). There's a bend in the road that some boy-racers seem to like flying along, but we didn't notice any excessive noise. Bathroom a decent size, clean, daily housekeeping. About 15min walk to the marina and the main part of town, so well located. Walking distance to catarct gorge. Easy parking on site. Definitely go to the Penny Royal Adventure area onsite. We had a great time rock climbing, doing the rope bridges and zip lining. Would return if we ever go back to Launceston."
