Someone set off fire alarm while we were sleeping. Took a long time to shut off alarm.

The staff was friendly, at least most of them. Amanda was great, she was always willing to help us & with a big smile. We didn't like the TV & always having to push the input button, then go over to HMI 1 to make it work everytime. The beds were comfortable, room was big, bathroom was average. Didn't like that they only came in once every other day to give you fresh towels and empty the trash, but never vacuumed the carpet, which it needed & didn't even make the beds. We probably won't be back, too far from Shipshewana. If you needed to take something back to the room, it was too far to keeping running back and forth, especially if we needed to take something to the fridge.

ADA room was very wheelchair accessible and large. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The ADA parking spots were very small and tight. Also 2 of the ADA spot were on a slope that allowed for my wheelchair to roll away from the car. Breakfast was nice and simple.

The bed was way too soft and sunk in so unable to get a restful sleep. Our backs hurt the following day. That would be the only reason we would not book at this hotel again.

This Hotel is in desperate need of a remodel in the rooms. Very outdated, stained and overall cleanliness poor. I would not recommend.

All personnel were friendly and pleasant. Room was very clean as well as the front and breakfast area. Having coffee available 24/7 was an extra plus. Nice variety of breakfast food choices.

Very friendly staff was great! The toilet was broken in our room. We came back after being gone for 3 hours and the toilet was still running. We asked for a different room. The handle fell off the toilet the 1st time I flushed it! I was able to reattach it and it never came off again.

Upon check-in the desk clerk had dirty hands and fingernails. Pleasant. Our room had not been cleaned and stocked well. There was a half full bottle of drinking water left on the AC unit. The kleenex tissues had only 2 in it. The hair conditioner in the shower was empty. Orange stain on the wall behind toilet tank. I have stayed at numerous Hampton Inns and this one was not up to the expectations of a Hampton Inn stay.

Staff was rude and very unhelpful. Fire alarm flashing strobe light was flashing in the room and bathroom. She said she could not do anything about it and she said she could or would not check us out at 9:30 pm. Could not stay as customers suffer from migraines and flashing light would be detrimental.

Not what we expect from Hampton Inn.
Room was okay. Disappointing breakfast. Waterery scrambled eggs, no meat choice, and the four juices were all water. First time we have had a poor stay at a Hampton Inn. Will look for other options in the future.

The heater in my room was the loudest I've ever had to endure. I simply could not sleep through the night because it would kick on randomly at unfathomably high volumes throughout all hours of the night. I probably should have said something to the front desk but I was too preoccupied with work. The heating units need to be updated. The staff was friendly and the convenience of the location was great.
