Good value, clean with attentive staff

We stayed in a nice room, clean, plenty of space with a good strong shower - no bath. However to room could do with better lighting especially over the wardrobe area where the safe was - could hardly see the numbers! Also the only mirror was in the bathroom

Het is een verouderd hotel , de ramen sluiten niet helemaal. Het ontbijt was prima. 211 euro voor 1 nacht is dan ook veel te duur.

Die Unterkunft ist schon reichlich abgewohnt. Das Bad könnte neue Fliesen vertragen. Auch die Brause sollte ernäuert werden. In den Zimmern fehlen Steckdosen. Die Frühstücksterasse währe sehr schön, aber es liegt überall Müll rum und die Tische wurden nicht abgewischt.

Kamers zagen er heel mooi uit, op de site. In het echt was het wat minder, maar wel prima. Trappenhuis was vies. Veel stof en andere dingen. Bij aankomst was er geen receptioniste, maar ze kwam wel snel aanlopen. ‘s Avonds toen we “thuiskwamen”, was de receptioniste meer geïnteresseerd in haar telefoon dan in de gasten. Er kon nog net goedeavond vanaf. Maar ze keek ons niet aan. Bed was vreselijk. We rolden naar elkaar toe. Prullenbak in de douche , deksel was vastgezet, althans geprobeerd, met een schroef die helemaal uitstak. Niet best voor kleine kinderen. Ontbijt was ok, op de mieren na die overal liepen. We gaan er geen 2e keer heen.

De kamer was op zich prima, lekker bed, minibar, bad met een lekkere douche, een raam die helemaal open kon, goede airconditioning. Ik vond het personeel niet allemaal even vriendelijk. En het rook echt muf in de lift en op de gangen. We hadden ontbijt op de kamer, 5,00 euro extra voor betaald. Maar we kregen de laatste restjes volgens mij, verkleurde ham, spek die helemaal doorbakken was en roerei die er niet meer lekker uit zag. Het croissantje was wel lekker vers. En we kregen maar 1 sinaasappelsap met zijn tweeën, vond ik wel weinig. Zit wel op loopafstand van het centrum, wel een lekker nachtje weg geweest.

Ik wist voordat ik boekte al dat dit hotel een wat versleten indruk maakt. Voor een nacht een goed bed, op loopafstand van centrum met een parkeerplaats voldeed het. Ontvangst door enthousiaste dame achter receptie was ook prima. Voor de prijs zou je echter meer mogen verwachten: de kamers zijn klein, versleten qua interieur/decoratie en niet bijzonder schoon ( schimmel badkamer etc) . Er is geen koelkastje/minibar. Geluidsisolatie voor geluiden op de gang is niet optimaal. Onder ons raam was een terras waar gerookt werd, niet fijn als je je raam wilt openen. Verder heeft het hotel niet veel te bieden qua voorzieningen.

We hebben het verblijf als prettig ervaren. Goede nachtrust gehad (3 overnachtingen) een goed verzorgd ontbijt. Op eerste avond gebruik gemaakt van diner. Dit vonden we wat minder. De tafel pikte* en bestek lag los op tafel. De keuze vonden we beperkt. (*Bleek aan schoonmaakmiddel te liggen) Een placemat en bestek in/op servet geeft een verzorgder geheel. Bij ontbijt waren wel placemat gebruikt. Verder tevreden eventueel voor vervolg weer naar toe te gaan.

Alleen minder was de ophanging van de wc houder ,, maar zo te zien ging dat niet anders . En een beetje antiekal om de rand in de wc pot meteen waar water uit komt schoonte krijgen zou beter uit zien . Voor de rest prima netjes en mooie schone kamer.

Prima hotel, maar gezien de prijs, kan het beter

+ grote kamer (Junior suite) + illy koffiezetter + heel vriendelijk personeel + koelkast + goede airco + zeer goede e-bikes gehuurd voor een redelijke prijs +/- ligging tov van centrum (10 minuten lopen) +/- online inchecken werkte prima. Online uitchecken werkte niet +/- standaard ontbijtbuffet: ok, maar kan beter +/- Wel wat geluidsoverlast van de weg. Ligt op kruispunt van twee drukke wegen +/- Knoppen bad kapot, maar nog wel bruikbaar +/- Slechte WiFi door ligging junior kamer (laatste kamer van de hotel vleugel). Rest hotel heeft wel goede wifi - Bad douche instap hoog. Bad en douche zijn gecombineerd, dus geen inloop douche - Hotelkamer leek op het eerste gezicht schoon, maar sommige hoeken gaatjes en randjes kunnen schoner. Niet echt vies, maar het kon beter.
