「The hotel spaces and especially our room were exquisitely decorated, calm and peaceful and in excellent condition. It was very hot while we were there, but the air-con worked very well. The shower was powerful and controllable. The guest pool was great (we did not use either spa, this visit) and empty at 7:30 am. Breakfast was very good and we only paid £7 each per day. 「Atención estupenda desde que llegamos al hotel. Habitación muy bonita y limpia. La cena estaba deliciosa. La piscina con vistas a la montaña es perfecta para relajarse y hacerse unas buenas fotos. 「We booked the family room and it was very spacious, beds and pillows very comfortable. It was also nice and quiet. Close enough to shops, restaurants and bars. Girona generally feels like a lovely safe city. We just thought the room looked a bit tired and needs some attention and it suffered from a pet peeve of mine: nowhere to hang 4 wet towels and not enough hooks. Also the door stop in the bathroom needs a rethink, ouch! 」

「This is an exceptional property, beautifully restored from a sprawling 17th century Catalan farmhouse. The couple that run it are very engaging and helpful and the food, prepared by the husband, is simply outstanding. It is very much in the country and a great place to relax and disconnect, which was what we wanted from the experience. If you want a more urban experience, this is not the place for you, but we just loved it. It was stunning.」
