I stayed at this hotel for four days, and while the location was great walking distance to the beach and close to lots of shopping the overall experience left a lot to be desired.
The building is outdated and definitely needs some upgrades. The staff were somewhat friendly, but not especially welcoming or helpful. One of the biggest issues was the number of hidden fees. Parking costs $26 per night, and there’s a $26 resort fee for each night as well. Even the continental breakfast isn’t included it’s an additional $20–$30 per person. For what I ended up spending in extra fees, I could have booked a nicer hotel with better amenities and more transparency upfront.
The pool is a nice size, and the beach is conveniently close. The sand was clean, but the water had a lot of seaweed, so it wasn’t ideal for swimming. On top of that, there was a large construction project going on next door, which made it noisy and less relaxing.
In the end, the location is a plus, but between the outdated facilities, hidden charges, and noise, I wouldn’t stay here again. If you're considering this hotel, just be aware that the “base price” is far from what you’ll actually pay.
