Construction site view. It wasn’t mentioned in the description. A lot of dust all over the place. Very poor cleaning service. Sticky and dirty floor. Would not recommended.

This hotel or room was way overpriced for what we actually got this room should’ve been free in my opinion. They didn’t let us check in until 4pm when we got there at 10am , did not inform us that check in was at 4pm at all . Took 2 hours before they even responded to an email , phone call or text . Hotel floor was being painted , elevator seemed like it was too old and was going to collapse besides the fact it would take 10 minutes to even getting on one . I did not enjoy my experience with this hotel what so ever I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

First and foremost, we have sent you the information that the check-in time is at or after 4 PM. Any early check-in requests will depend on the unit's availability. Unfortunately, we have a back-to-back reservation on your arrival date and we do not allow early check-in in that case since our housekeeping team needs time to clean the unit after the guest checkout and prior to the next guest's check-in. Furthermore, you have booked a privately owned unit, thus, any renovations you have observed in the building are beyond our management. Rest assured that your feedback will be relayed to the hotel management.

Although I’ve had amazing experiences in the past, this time was extremely different. Upon arrival the front desk lady was extremely rude if it wasn’t for the other guys at the desk I wouldn’t have been able to purchase another room. Leo and Christian at the restaurant/ bar we’re the only reason I would consider having a cocktail at the bar they were super nice and professional! Housekeeping came to my room 1 time during a 3 day stay. On the day of checkout valet took my bags but to my surprise once at the airport no bags were in my trunk...so yes I missed my flight. I wouldn’t recommend this place especially on weekends as they are “busy” which is the excuse I heard multiple times when they made numerous mistakes.

We stayed in a privately owned condo in this hotel. Although the front desk will check you in, they have no control over the unit. There were no tissues, extra toilet paper or amenities in the bathroom and no dish soap or towels in the kitchen even though it is a full kitchen. The hotel won't supply anything and I called the management company for the unit 3 times with no response. So beware you must shop to enjoy your vacation and don't expect additional service. There is also a resort fee you must pay but the concierge and the beach and bar staff are good. The hotel is a little "tired" and could be cleaner.

It was within walking distance of shopping and dining. A nice grocery store one block away. The Kruieg coffee maker didn’t work in our room. And the microwave made a heck of a racket. The apartment was fairly comfortable. The staff was friendly and courteous.

The property was fine. The check-in service was quite confusing with duplicate check-in procedural between the property owner and the resort check-in desk overlap ie photo requirement, credit card copy, deposits etc..

Would not stay at condos!! Book direct to hotel!
This is not a direct book through hotel, which was a huge pain! The website for ERO rentals is not secure and they want you to send a picture of your credit card and license which is not a good way to do business. This also means you don’t check in with front desk and different cleaning service. Felt a little harassed about what time we were getting there so someone could meet us. We were driving in felt like I had an appt time instead of enjoying the drive. I had to text 30 min prior to our arrival which I did and then there was no one to meet us and we were able to check in with front desk. Then there was no coffee in the room (I was so looking forward to morning coffee on the balcony) it took a couple days to get coffee. Stains on the carpet and shower and cabinets need repair. Would not stay through them again but would book directly through hotel!

This was my wife and I first time visiting the resort. We was able to check in early and we was given a late check out with no additional fee. The hotel staff was polite and friendly. We really enjoyed the ocean and the city view balcony. However, the front of the hotel was under construction. Nevertheless, the stay was excellent and the people was great.

Perfect view
I had an amazing time at Marenas Resort. My room was so spacious, clean, fully furnished and the best part was the view! The bathrooms are super clean and the bed is huge! I love how there are clear instructions on how to use the room. My overall stay was perfect. I would def recommend to a friend or family. I’m actually thinking of going back. The room I stayed at was 1708A. Front desk was so nice and the valet staff was so friendly.

Think before you book!!!
I will try to be short: room #1708B 1.You are in hotel,but you are not part of it because it's private rentals. 2.You can't adjust water temperature in the shower, you are getting only cold or hot. 3. I find iron, but no iron board. Remember!!! can't go to to hotel stuff. Customer service from EcoRentals: " Iron and iron board are not part of agreement and iron was in the room by accident". After 15 min on the phone I convinced lady that iron should be a common think like toilet paper or shampoo. I got iron board one day before I checked out. 4.Coffee machine with two coffee capsules for 2 people for 4 days? 5.Room service no show on Sunday, I guess day off. 6.Parking $27 per night, I was told $27 for 4 nights.

Great condo, great view!
Great stay by the beach, awesome location. The staff was wonderful. Definitely plan to stay there again. Only concern was the private condos, although awesome if you have any concerns with the air conditioning unit, you may need to wait longer for an engineer to check it out.

I wouldn't go back to this place if they paid me! Hotel staff at the front desk and maids were rude. The room had blood stains on the bed, the room smelled like smoke and its was just an awful experience. My family and I left and went to a different resort.

I was EXTREMELY upset to be misled that I was not getting the advertised price of $162 but instead it was DOUBLE that price because you "Orbitz" did not disclose the cleaning fees until after I booked the "non-refundable " room. Property management company, not the hotel....
I've stayed at Marenas before. This particular unit is managed by a property management company and it is not apparent from their listing. On the day of travel I received a cryptic text from them telling me I had to scan and submit a copy of my drivers license and front and back copies of my credit card. It had to be uploaded to the portal of a property management company whose name was never mentioned. It said I had to send that in order to get checkin instructions even though I had already paid for my four day stay in full. I'm in the travel business, this is a very unprofessional way of handling this. What if I had left my house and was unable to upload this? How would I even verify who they are from a text on a cellphone? The unit is really a one bedroom unit attached to a separate hotel room with a hallway that is lit all the time as you can't turn the light off. It's advertised as a 2 bedroom.

Hotel by the beach
It was a terrible experience! When we got to the unit 1404, the dishes were all dirty from the previous guest. The carpet was filled with stains and very dirty as it was the furniture. The TV remote control was missing, the bathroom had the cheapest toilet paper ever and there were no tissues. It was not worth it, it is terribly maintained. As a matter of fact we cheked out one day early as we did not feel comfortable there.

Horrible Stay
I was never informed that next to the Hotel there was a construction. The noise was deafening and the dust flew down to the beach. Impossible to enjoy the beach.

It was a nice hotel but every time me and my husband ask for something thing like towels and toilet paper they said they can not gave it to use because it's a private unit and we didn't have no toilet paper we have to go by that on our own and it's not post to be like that

The front desk is instructed to direct you to our housekeeping department so that we can provide you with ANYTHING you need during your stay. Very nice hotel and right on the BEACH!!
Generally, we liked it! Close to everything. It had all the amenities you would find in a hotel and the food was incredibly good!! The staff was good, some better than others though. I would have liked it if the staff had been a little more attentive and friendlier and more knowledgeable. Communication from Expedia could have been much better when we booked. We were not aware when booking that our condo was not part of the hotel's housekeeping services, although just about everything else was. Also confusing was knowing if room service was part of the hotel amenities. Hotel staff not clear either when asked. We would have liked to know when booking exactly what was and what was not included. Are we booking a hotel room or condo unit?!
