This is a great place to stay when visiting Mexico City. It is in a really safe and convenient location to walk to restaurants and bars, parks, and shopping as well as business hotels. Lots of character in the rooms and the overall hotel and they treat you like family with very attentive and friendly service at all times.

Middle of the night alarms kept going off. Any noise in the lobby would be as if it was in our room. And more ... We could not sleep the first night and after a conversation with the front desk, she stated that it was understandable if we wanted to cancel our reservation and that they will wait for Expedia to reach them and they will refund. However, they never did. All the bad reviews, now that I read back, were all true.

We stayed here for one night and we were looking for a restful night before our early flight. The property and its surroundings are very noisy. There is a nightclub on the same street that plays loud music until 2 am. Additionally, other guests next to our room were coming home at 4 am making extremely loud noises throughout the lobby, running up and down the stairs and slamming their doors many times. The noise travels throughout the whole building. There is no way to contact security or reception. We had to listen to the noise for at least an hour and then we left the property. Nothing was done about the noise during that time.

Enjoyed the property and staff. Loved the walkability of the area - many excellent dining options within a 10 minute walk. For the nightly rate, the frayed towels should be replaced.
