Dear Guest- Your request came in for a standard bedroom, we sent you an email stating it was a double bed and if you wanted an upgrade. You did not reply. Once you arrived, we offered you an upgrade to a 2 bed suite for 30 usd extra and you stated it was only one night and that a double bed was fine. In our policies, we specify that all valuables should be in the safety deposit box for your and our piece of mind. You signed these policies yet you did not use the safety box at any time. Our maid was in your room for 10 minutes tidying up your bed. We have that on our cameras. She did not come close to your wallet as per our policy. We believe this is an unfair and biased review and we are sad that you believe our whole service was deserving of a ¨1¨. That being said, we did give you a gift card to use for one year to compensate your discontent. We wish you all the best.

Thank you for your comment. We strive on giving the best service possible and your feedback is very valuable for us. We´re sorry for the water! Mexico City had a city wide shutdown during your stay. We had filters and stored water for the emergency but it was not enough. The good thing is that everything is now back in shape in Mexico City and the pressure and water are back to normal. We believe there was a miss communication as check in is not until 3 pm. We´re glad you found Gerardo and the staff friendly, helpful and polite! We look forward to serving you again. All the best!

We are sorry this unfortunate event happened to you during your visit to Mexico City and saddened that you are under the impression it happened here. It’s unfortunate that you chose not to use the safety deposit box in your room. We insist guests use their private safe for peace of mind. I realize how jarring it must be to find your wallet missing. That said, you checked in on Tuesday and did not inform us of the missing items until Saturday. We were surprised again when you did not want us to accompany you to file a police report. During any trip one visits various shops, restaurants, museums, cabs, and city streets; as such, we are not responsible for personal items. We are located in one of the most secure neighborhoods in Mexico City and provide each safe as a courtesy. This incident is the first time we hear of anything going missing at our place (with or without use of the safe). Our staff is our family and has been with us from the very beginning and we trust them completely. While we are glad the minor problems were quickly resolved during your stay, we wish your overall experience matched the excitement and effort we put into your stay. Our guests are our livelihood and when they are affected, we are affected.

We suggest you stay in our bigger rooms for your next stay as the master master suites have more space and are more comfortable even though we offer the same services for all rooms. Hello! Thank you for your review! We´re glad you liked the bathroom :D About the noise, we appreciate the feedback. We are working on it as we speak, as we are installing shutters on the windows that are directed towards the patio so that the sound won´t travel any longer. As you know we are a brand new b&b and are working out the kinks.. we want your next stay to be absolutely perfect. Saludos y gracias!

Hi!! Thanks so much for your review. As you mentioned, we have only been open for a few weeks and we want our guests to have the best experience possible. As a result of your kind review, we had robes made for the junior suites, as we will be adding them this week. We have also lowered the price on this bedroom, and have added the note on expedia and booking that this room has its own private bathroom right outside the bedroom. So sorry we didn't know the heater wasn't working! Rafa is on site so that he can help you with anything you need at night and Vero or myself can help out during the day. Your suggestions really helped us! All the best!
