Did not like to much noise and there was no help for luggage to take to your room also lights in rooms poor not brite at all Neighbors partying in there rooms couldn’t get any sleep or rest

This is a wonderful hotel wit comfortable beds, a friendly and helpful staff, and a pleasant atmosphere. The included breakfast is great, too!

I asked my Mexico City staff to recommend a hotel and they clearly didn't do any research as I was expecting a business hotel but Hotel Scala Magna is short time Love Hotel with huge jacuzzi in the middle of the room and free porn on T.V.

Nice hotel close to main shops in Satelite
Hotel was really convenient for the purpose of our trip. Room was clean, spacious and beds are confortable.

They do not have any coffeemaker, small refrigerator and microwave. Even they don't have any icemaker on any floor. Besides of that it's a great hotel the staff are so nice but no one understand english.

I liked that it was very clean, roomy and quiet, the staff was very friendly and attent to detail, the breakfast was pretty good the waiters very polite it was a very pleasant stay.

We made a fantastic choice by staying at Scala Magna for a friend’s wedding. The welcome was warm and the room was very clean. We also had a lovely meal in the restaurant on the Friday night. The waiters were very pleasant and attentive. Although I had a disturbed nights sleep, It was pleasant and the bed was comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and on our next trip or wedding in the Satélite area Scala Magna will be our only choice.

Hotel was unique
This hotel was unique and like going back to the 60's. It's location however was not the friendliest. It was hard to get out of the parking area due to traffic and it's in a very industrial area. Not much to do around there.

Awful experience, hotel rents rooms by the hour.
Bullet proof glass at the front desk. I was unaware that this hotel was also renting rooms by the hour when I booked it. Very low lighting, I guess is to set the mood. The bed was hard as a rock, remember to bring your own pillows and sheets. Luckly I travel with sandals. Room service was bad, stay away from the cesesr salad and the water union soup. Breakfast was the onliy highlight. My advice stay somehere else.

Staff and breakfast are the best!
The hotel needs a lot of work. The bathrooms look old and stained, the shower is the worst. The lightning is terrible if you want to unpack and pack or get ready. They need to change the doors to real doors. The doors have 4 or five little "windows" as decoration and the light comes in all night long, very annoying. The A/C never worked properly...It definitively needs maintenance! However, the room has a safe which is vital for me, the beds are comfortable, I love the fact that the breakfast is included and they bring it to your room without extra charge and the best is the people. They are very nice and always willing to help you with a big smile.

Nice friendly staff but not been able to communicate in english was a problem. I had to pay about 60 USD for dimner ☺️☺️☺️ because of this otherwise they were ok. Breakfast was good. However no fridge in the room. Room was spacious n neat with all basic neccesities.

Room and breakfast very good but the rest lacking
The room and breakfast offered were very good but that may have been it . It was disappointing that no one even at reception spoke any English and we had trouble communicating. It would have been a nice touch to have tea and coffee facilities in the room especially given that the menu was in Spanish and no one could understand us. The hotel info said airport and local travel shuttle ...in a word there was none !

Great Hotel For The Price
I truly enjoyed my two night stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was great. Especially the restaurant facility and stuff were outstanding. We had dinner and two breakfasts here and absolutely loved the service and quality of food, I will definitely stay here again.!

I was channel surfing the tv and found that it had several hardcore adult channels unlocked, beware of you travel with children, good thing I was traveling for business otherwise I would have been concerned for my daughters

In general the hotel is good a couple things That need to be fix not sink siphon so there is odor, light bulbs burned and the heat did not work. The restaurant staff very friendly

I feel lake I'm in home, good price, includes breakfast (with breakfast including I'm saving about 20.00 US dollars) so the result average cost per night is 50.00 US dollars, the average cost for meals outside the hotel is about 20.00 US dollars so in other words average cost per night is 30.00 Us Dollar

Too far from Airport for a layover.
Great hotel BUT DO NOT STAY HERE IF CATCHING A MORNING FLIGHT as property is 25k from airport, NOT 15k as advertised. Also had requested a non smoking room and got a smoking room. A maid was sent up to 'spray" but smell still lingered. Rooms are very modern and comfortable. The breakfast was very good.

Nice place. Far from attractions.
Not close to any sights that I know of,so we spent a lot on transportation. Zocalo is a 40 minute drive. They are only willing to drive guests TO the airport. Other than that, breakfast was a delicious, huge meal; no English speaking staff, but they were polite; firm, but not awful beds; not perfect but clean and accomodating. I would stay again if my plans included staying near the hotel.

Habitación muy cómoda y limpia, resultó muy conveniente que el restaurante tuviera servicio las 24 horas porque teníamos compromiso a las 6:00 a.m. El personal del restaurante muy amable. Debido a un retraso de varias horas para hacer el chek out, tuvieron que sacar mis cosas de la habitación, sin embargo las empacaron y guardaron amablemente, sin faltar nada de mis pertenencias. El punto a mejorar es una recepcionista matutina algo mal humorada, nada amable.

La calidad de la ropa de cama es de lo mejor. La calidad del desayuno es increíble. La atención de los empleados es amable y dedicada. Es uno de mis hoteles favoritos. El capitán de meseros, el Sr Angel, ya se jubiló, pero la herencia que ha dejado en su equipo de trabajo es la de un grupo de personas dedicadas al servicio.
