Friendly staff and clean room

The front desk staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean. Very central location, walking distance to oxxo and easy to get taxi or uber.

This area of the city was recommended to us as we wanted to visit the pyramids of Teotihuacan, Chapultepec and not be too far from the airport. Our room here was pretty big, clean and in good condition. We ate at the restaurant downstairs once and the food was ok. There are some little shops and kitchens within a block if you are hungry or need any toiletries etc. We were happy with our stay here and would pick this hotel again.

Welcome respite after a long, warm day.

Everything looked very clean. Showers need upgrading (rusting showerhead), door leaks quite a lot of water into the bathroom, but the bathroom has a bidet. No place for soap or a towel by the bidet, which is the norm.

It was an average experience for us for visiting the 1st time in Mexico City. We were there for the festival of Mary of Guadalupe and Hotel Escala central de Norte was very close to the basilica. The hotel staffs were friendly. The hotel is older and there were no closet or dresser for our clothes. Overall it was an average experience for us to come sleep and rest for the trip.
