A beautiful boutique hotel located in the heart of CDMX, Histórico Central offers an excellent price for value. The rooms are not spacious, but who wants to spend time in their room in this vital and beautiful city? Blocks from the Palacio de Bellas Artes and the Zocalo, you’re close to all forms of transportation and the staff will gladly arrange a private car for tours or transport with an excellent car service. Best, a delicious, hot, and varied breakfast is included. The restaurant staff — Arturo, Gonzalo, and Roberto — go out of their way to be gracious and accommodating. At night the commerce empties and you do have to be aware of your surroundings if you walk around the hotel. But you are in walking distance of three extraordinary and elegant restaurants: La Cardenal, Limosneros, and El Danubio. We had some problem with getting some laundry sorted out that we had washed, and the shower is cramped, but these shortcomings don’t prevent this from being the best price for value in a downtown hotel in Mexico City.
