Our experience was tremendous, with the atmosphere, architectural design, amenities and helpful service, we will definitely be coming back a 3rd time! The cleaning staff was incredible, they made our beds, changed our trash and refilled our water everyday. The rooms are beautiful and each have one of a kind architectural design to it. We were fortunate enough to stay in two rooms, both rooms had super comfortable beds, rainfall showers, some cozy robes and slippers, TV access, A/C, mini-fridge, microwave and one room had two stovetops. The most unexpected amenity we received was tea on our last night! This is our second time coming and won’t be our last!

The location was perfect. The staff was very attentive friendly and excellent. The property decor was great. Our major complaint is because the property is mostly concrete steel and glass sound travels everywhere. You can hear every conversation from the room above you and even the quietest conversation in the hallway or lobby carries directly into the room. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. Lots to do around the property. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Other than the sound issue it's a beautiful place. The sound issue however would keep me from coming back.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful, surprising us with a hand written thank you note delivered with a lovely tea tray our last evening. Little thoughtful touches like that as well as a beautiful decorated room made a trip extra special.

Best Hotel in Mexico!

This place was the most amazing hotel. A lot of attention to detail were put into this hotel. Our room was beautiful complete with an outdoor patio. Would recommend this hotel to everyone!

Jessica on the front desk went above and beyond to assist me in expediting an early check in. She and all her coworkers are extremely helpful. It was a heavenly experience. I hope to be back soon.

Unique boutique hotel

We loved this hotel so much it was sad to leave. It’s located in the center of all actions but tug into a quiet alley. The interior design was chic and superb. My husband went around and got a few ideas for our own home. The front desk provides excellent services. Thank you Pablo for your guidance for activities and transportation. We would love to return whenever we visit México City.

one of the best!

OK..this is one of the best stays we have ever had, the room was so well appointed, great bedding, great layout and the decorative touches made the space so appealing. The location could not have been better, just a block away from the main square but on a quiet street with all the restaurants, shops and attractions of Coyoacan walking distance. But best of all, the owners were so accommodating and friendly we felt like we were at home. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Fantastic boutique hotel in the heart of Coyacon

Wow- finding this gem of a hotel in the heart of Coyacon was truly a highlight of our trip to Mexico City. Beautifully designed and executed, this boutique hotel was a delight to stay and base our adventures out of as we explored Coyacon and beyond. The gracious owners Cristian and Perla were fantastic in pointing out all the wonderful amenities within the room as well as pointing us to several excellent local spots to grab a bite to eat in the neighborhood (there are MANY options just steps out the front door). I can't recommend H21 and the neighborhood of Coyacon enough to first time visitors to the area. You will not be disappointed with your stay @ H21 Hotel Boutique!

We stayed at H21Hospedaje Boutique for 5 nights. From the moment we entered we were takin care of. The people at the hotel have hospitality down to a T. Everything was perfect. From coffees made to perfection for us in the am to fruit and snacks available at all times of the day. Interior of our suite had everything one would need. Extremely clean and special details throughout. Our travel arrangements were prepared for us from airport before we arrived and to airport when we were ready to depart. The hotel itself is in a perfect location. We were able to walk everywhere, from historical parks and church’s, to Frida’s casa azul and all places in between. The neighborhood is very safe from all hours of day and night. Again, I must say all the help, Gloria, Melody, and others made us instantly feel at home. We will be back and this is the only place you will find us in all of the Mexico City area! Thank you Coyoacán!

The property was in the heart of Coyocan. Frida's blue house is walking distance from this place as is the center. If you want to visit Bellas Artes-that was about a 30 minute drive and the museum of Anthropology - was about a 50 minute drive, Xochimilco was about a 30 minute drive. Traffic can make these times longer. Overall it was a perfectly central place with various restaurants and shops steps away. You can hear the liveliness of the outside from the room, it wasn't too loud for us, we were able to sleep soundly.

Coyoacan

This is the perfect place to stay in Coyoacan. Cristian was very warm and welcoming. His personal cell phone is listed right on the wall if you need to reach him. He makes himself available and gives good advice about what to do and where to go. The hotel is located right in the middle of the fun. There is a coffee shop right across the street as well as a food vendor hall. There is also a nice bar and night club with live music across the street. The park and plaza and market is just down the street and the Frida Kahlo museum is about a 10-15 min walk away.

Loved this Hidden Gem

From the moment I contacted Cristian after booking, everything was perfect. He kindly responded quickly to all my questions and when I had trouble booking tickets to the Frida house/museum he bought the tickets for us on our requested date and time. When we arrived we had such a warm welcome including an anniversary card and delicious little chocolate cake. They even had some snacks and 2 cold cervezas in the little fridge! We loved our room and private patio. Very safe location, and secure property behind a locked entry door. Excellent walking to shops, restaurants and the Frida Museum. Even though you’re in Mexico City, Coyoacán feels like a small village. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again!!

This was the best hotel I have ever EVER stayed in, hands down. Immaculate, peaceful, romantic and gorgeous. Imagine a retreat to an oasis but the cute district of Coyoatan is right outside your door. Loved how it did not look like a hotel at all, but someone's home, and it felt like staying at your favorite Aunt's place. The staff was so warm and inviting (big abrazos to Deter and Jessica!!). The amenities were all on point and I cannot think of one single thing that was out of place or an inconvenience. Perfect for traveling alone or with a significant other. We did not have to taxi/uber anywhere since there was so much to do in the area and the hop on/off buses were right down the street. If I ever find myself having to return to DF, I will always return to H21.

I have a quandary about writing this review. I liked this place so much Ithat want to keep it my own personal secret for future visits, but that would be unfair to the proprietors of this hotel, so I'll try not to be selfish and let people know about it anyway. It is my favorite place to stay in Mexico City - great location for exploring the Coyoacan neighborhood, awesome service people (we liked Christian in particular), beautiful room and it felt very comfortable and spacious. The TV had lots of selections in English to choose from (Spanish too) as well as Netflix. I can't say enough good about this place. I just hope that next time we come to Mexico City we'll still be able to secure a room...

A generous spirit abounds at this boutique hotel

I had chosen the hotel on a recommendation from a friend and boy am I glad I asked. When we arrived we were a little nervous from the front door—it looks like nothing from the street. But step inside and you’re in a spa-like atmosphere-it’s very soothing. Very chic kind of mid-century décor. We did have a flight of steps to our room, but the staff moved our bags upstairs so it was no problem. Our room had an outside deck, which was fabulous as the weather was nice. Free water in the room and the lobby. The staff spoke excellent English and were SO helpful in giving us the layout of the neighborhood! They even found us a medical person to come to the hotel to administer Covid PCR tests before we left for our cruise! Just a generous spirit overall. Honestly, it’s so hard to find a great hotel these days, but I would give this a 10/10 and would definitely stay here again if I’m back in Mexico City.
