Love, love, love Kukun. Over the past 6 months I have probably stayed in a Kukun property for 2 of those months. The staff is great! The rooms are nice! Amenities are great. We loved having the Jacuzzi on the roof in this kukun! There were some people complaining about noise, but it's not too bad. One night in 10 I heard a little noise. But c'mon it's zona rosa in Mexico City. Isn't a little noise expected?

Don't stay here. I had trouble getting in because the host mistyped the code on the most recent message. The system also nags you to create a Kukun account. I could never get it to work because it sent whatsapp messages and not SMS even though it said SMS messages would be sent. I never received them on my USA number nor my Mexican number. The floorplan looked great in the dollhouse image but wasn't very functional. The televisions hang from the ceiling and located in the walkway to smack your head. The door to the bedroom is hinged on the wrong side. If you walk from the main side of the bed and the door is open, the door edge will hit you in the face. Most streetside rooms in Mexico City are noisy. This is the noisiest location I've ever stayed. You'll have to sleep with ear plugs unless you are deaf. There is not enough kitchen counter space, and the electric outlets are not in convenient locations. The couch is not comfortable. The bed and pillows were okay. The shower water was super hot but decreased in the morning with many people in the building showering.

The apartment was comfortable and spacious. The security staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was a bit stressful for me as I am not very good at technology The location is very central and good. It is noisy , but that is outwidth Kuken’s control!

The security staff were wonderful and friendly. The room was VERY loud. I knew from reviews that it would be loud but even with earplugs we both had a hard time sleeping.

I would recommend this place for a couple or a small family. We loved the area and really appreciated the safe access to the building. The only complain is that they had two huge televisions but no remotes! When we asked we were told the reason they weren’t any was because people kept taking them. If you don’t want to give out remotes, then don’t advertise TV’s or at least give a discount. We were there for 5 nights with an 11yo who couldn’t watch anything. They are not that expensive, I’m sure they could be replaced easily. Besides that, lovely place.

Pros: Walkable distance to Angel de la Independence and local restaurants and other attractions. Cons: Not the quietest of locations the first 2 nights, Our apartment was missing a lot of utensils/bed sheets/duvet, kitchen faucet was falling apart, bathroom vanity isn’t convenient to place clean clothes to shower. And it was very inconvenient having to beg the security guy for blankets/sheets/utensils which he would hesitate to give us or take pictures of what he was handing us (very annoying). Oh and asking the security guy for trash bag to take out the trash because you don’t have room service until you've stayed for 6-7days. It was just annoying that for the price this apartment was mediocre and missing a lot of stuff. Would I stay there again Nooo. Surely you can find something more reasonable and nicer. I think for the price not worth it.

Great location. Walking distance to many sites and amenities. We felt very safe for our entire stay. Units are clean and comfortable. We also really enjoyed the roof top terace and hot tub, especially after long days of exploring the city. It was a bit noisy from the street but it didnt bother us (recommend putting on a white noise app if needed). We had a great stay and hope to be back again soon!
