"Was dirty had massive ants switched rooms. Almost half of the room was flooded from the upstairs neighbor. Then the owner came to look and was very rude about the ants. Went to our 3rd room to where there was blood on the bedding so 3 rooms later we ended up leaving before our stay was over and didn’t get refunded for the remains part of our stay there. Will never go back there. Advertised an outdoor pool online but it’s seasonal and was closed for our stay. Only nice thing there was the open yard to play catch in with the kids."

"Lobby was clean and tidy, room not so much. Whoever does the maintenance here should be fired. Mold and mildew in the shower, paint splatter all over everything in the bathroom, paper thin walls, lumpy, uncomfortable bed, and a joke of a "breakfast". Add to that the yipping dog next door ALL NIGHT LONG, and I can honestly say I will never return to this place. I stayed on a Friday, and there wasnt many cars in the parking lot when I arrived at 9pm....should have been my first clue as to the inhospitable environment here. I'd stay away from this one...."

"Hotel in general was dirty. We arrived early and asked what time we could check in and the front desk gal was sitting on a chair an snapped “check in ain’t till 3” Our amenities were empty once we did check in. Not a big deal. A lot of garbage all over. The bed was the best part of the stay. Definitely not worth $200 for one night."

"Was traveling out of town for a funeral in the area and searched for a place to stay last minute, read the reviews and figured this place would be acceptable as we were only spending one night boy was I wrong , when we arrived the gentleman at the desk was very friendly and professional but that’s the only positive of this stay ,the room was very dirty, look I spent 34 years working out of town so I’ve spent my fair share of time in some rough hotels and this room was not the worst I’ve seen but it was close , so much so that my wife and I slept on top of the bed spread and slept in our clothes. Why didn’t we just leave you might ask well it crossed our mines but we were just exhausted from traveling and frankly exhausted from a sudden unexpected death in our family that we were attending the funeral for the following day . After this experience we will NOT be using Hotels.com or Days inn by Wyndom in the future regardless of the location, which is too bad because I’m sure some of their locations are not managed this way but having said that I won’t take that chance again 👎👎"

" I had made my reservation for 3 nights, but driving into Cave City, I noticed the area was pretty dead as far as visitors and many places weren't open so upon check-in, I advised I was only going to stay 2 nights. They raised my nightly rate by $20 a night, saying I originally got the "3-night special"! Not a good beginning to my stay. The room was fine, the shower pressure and water temp was great, but there was a bit of mildew/mold growing on the ceiling. Breakfast was just ok; the preprocessed egg white rounds just did not look appealing. "

"At first glance, the room seemed fine, but it quickly became clear that it had not been properly cleaned. I found a used baby rag left behind the chair and blood drops on our bedding…completely unacceptable and honestly disturbing. Cleanliness should be the bare minimum, and this fell far below that standard. I reported the issue to the front desk immediately. I was given new bedding and changed it myself. I wad told that photos had been taken and sent to management, and that I would hear back from them by a certain time the next day. That never happened. Asked for a partial refund so that we could get another room and was assured management would reach out to me. Never happened. Since then, I have made multiple calls over several days trying to resolve the situation and request a refund, but I have received no follow-up and no resolution. The lack of cleanliness is bad enough, but the complete absence of customer service afterward made it even worse. Being ignored after raising a serious concern is incredibly frustrating. Blood on bedding is a health and safety issue and is reportable to the health department. I would strongly caution others before booking here. There are plenty of hotels that take cleanliness and customer concerns seriously and apparently this is not one of them."

"The staff was very nice. We only stayed one night so we did not use the gym or the pool. The room was clean. There was a mini fridge and microwave. The breakfast was typical. The lady cleaned the tables after each one was used. It us an older hotel but the bed was comfortable. There are a lot of restraunts within walking distance to the hotel."
