I absolutely loved this Hotel! It was a pleasure to stay here. The front desk receptionist Latonya made me feel very welcomed and appreciated as a guest. They even had hot breakfast. Definitely gonna make this a top hotel to stay at on my list.
Hotel was great all the way around. Sleep Inn is a perfect name for the hotel because the feather down comforter, the medium soft bed, the pillows were a comparison to feather down pillows, very, very fluffy.Four pillows per bed. Amazing sleep.
Our first clue that this was going to be a poor experience is that our room number was literally written on the wall outside our room with red sharpie. I'm not kidding. When we walked in to the building just prior to getting to our room, the stairs leading to the second floor were stripped down to glue on old wooden steps and there was a caution tape ripped and hanging from both posts. I could have gotten past that, but the sharpie room number clinched it.
I do have to say, staff immediately offered us another room and while it didn't smell like smoke, it definitely still smelled old and stuffy. We had paid for a room with a king bed and the replacement was only a queen. But staff was friendly and like I said, they offered a new room right away. Overall, would not go back, though. Not worth the $120, sadly.
I would recommend sleep inn suites to anyone the staff is great the hotel is very clean newly remodeled Stacy, LaTanya, Mamtha are all very friendly helpful and caring staff!! The staff make sure that you're comfortable and if there's anything that you need they try to do their best to accommodate you.
Daughter plays travel softball… we stay in tons of places all over the country, this was by far the worst… the room stunk and water and phone did not even work (not joking) for long periods of time. Stay anywhere else, you won’t regret it.

Once a great facility. It appears it is being let run down because it is going to be torn down, like everything around it. What a shame. It was so nice in the past.
Property was poorly maintained, Got a non smoking room but smelled like cigarettes and the staff was rude never stay here also the hall ways in parts had water in them
The property was bought out and is no longer LaQuinta. Property repairs— ice machine not working, some building maintenance, etc. staff undergoing booking issues and room assignments a complete mess at checkin.
My family has been coming to this hotel for years and we will not be back. There was no room service, gnats, and we barely had towels(thank goodness we bring our own). I had to ask for a mop to clean up the bathroom floor from the front desk(which they tried to give me a dirty one). We took out my family's trash just to keep it clean. I wouldn't recommend unless you need a pet friendly place for your animal(s).
When I booked this room, I went off the pictures and the average rating. However when we arrived it was late at night checked in about 10:30 and trash cans were over filled. Walkways were filthy. Carpeting in hallways and rooms were filthy it seemed as if there had been no vacuuming in over 6 months at least. Ice cream spilled in the hallways. Our room only had one towel, and when we asked for additional towels we were informed that we could not get any more towels until 9am. We ended up not unpacking anything and made other accommodations at a different hotel in the area. We paid about double the price but very much worth it. I would not stay at the Quinta Inn Marrillville again.
An absolute nightmare.
First of all the hotel wasn’t even the same name it’s advertised on Expedia. The pictures were from a long time ago too because they don’t accurately represent it’s current state. This place looked like a crack house inside.
After checking in (it was late and we had little choice at thos point) we needed to request a room change almost immediately because the first room was so dirty. The bed looked like they just folded sheets over, there was garbage on the floor, and there was fresh blood and other stains on the sheets.
Checking into the second room wasn’t much better. Dead bugs, clogged toilet, rancid smoke smell, and no hot water. We couldn’t find accommodations nearby and ended up sleeping in our clothes on top of the sheets because we were so grossed out.
It’s a crime they are in business making money by taking advantage of people, just shameful.

I never write reviews & don't really read them but here is my exception. Water was rusty then no water then it was grey. Smoke alarm because of boiler problem. Shady people outside. Creepy hallways. Very uncomfortable- I checked out early & moved to a different hotel. It was worth the expense

Went there and was confused on why all the signs were blocked out and why the hotel didn’t look like the pictures. Had a reservation for two rooms and they weren’t by each other even though I asked for it. My room didn’t have a microwave or refrigerator. The fire alarm went off at 3 in the morning because of a problem with a boiler. Didn’t have hot water for hours even though they knew there was a issue with the boiler that night because it was told to them by the firefighters. I had to check out because it was 12pm and still no hot water in my room or water in the other rooms. Hotel didn’t offer any help with the issue. Just said they don’t know when it would be on. It seemed they didn’t care. The hotel was filthy and smelled like urine. I feel I was fooled by the pictures.
We stayed there for 5 days and it was all bad starting off with no water when we checked in lefted for the evening and came in at 1230am still no water asked front desk and they said 30 min so end up getting ready for ned pulled bed covers back found pubic hair and dirty sheets so end up sleeping on top of bed the whole stay so next morning we up to go to a wedding event there was a water issue turned water on it was yellow then ran water until water was clear now there was no hot water had to shower in cold water 😤 and that’s not all over all this room smelled had to buy room deodorant tried changing towels had to wait over an hour since they only had enough towels per room non sense I’ve worked for Woodsprings so many years so I know we always had extra for the name of la Quinta inn they should have better service I would think so please people don’t waste your money and time go elsewhere no thanks for the stay
Room and hallways need a deep carpet cleaning. Smell of everything, animal pee, smoke, mold, etc. Room was unclean and have to buy items to make it more confortable. Aot of sewer flies inside, smelling of animal pee, and cob web at every angle of ceiling and corners. Bathroom was half clean due to not been wiped and foolr need a deep cleaning at corners. Airconditioning need to be keep on high as 63 to get smell lower to enough sleep. Will not recommend this location to anyone unless those conditions are fixed.
No phone, no clock, broken coffee maker,water damage everywhere, dead bugs on window sill, refrigerator door broken, wall sockets don’t work,ice machine s broken, no shampoo (ran out),1towel, no decaf coffee for lobby(ran out), pump for swimming pool broken, musty moldy smells in hallways! There was a huge hole in the ceiling of the lobby leaking water which flooded the hall. Clearly it got into the room they chose for me. It reeked like mold and cat pee. The door leading outside by my room door was broken, so anyone could walk in.

La habitación tenía la puerta abierta porque se había inundado y estaban esperando que se secara el baño estaba sucio y tube que salir a comprar productos para limpiar. “El desayuno” muy baja calidad, mal sabor y el área estaba apestoso y sucio, las mesas tenían manchas residuos de que algo se derramó y no lo limpiaron. Cuando volví en la noche todavía estaban sucias las mesas. No lo recomiendo y jamás volveremos a este lugar!.
