The restaurant in the hotel was incredible. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive to any request we had. The room was decorated nicely, and the grounds of the hotel common area were beautiful.

Great hotel for exploring Merida

Great hotel with nice decor and facilities. Staff were alway available and very helpful. Minibar items were also included which was nice. Great location only a short walk to the main square in Merida.

The hotel was simplistically elegant. The room was perfectly outfitted with all travelers needs, beautifully designed and the bedding was luxurious. The breakfast was delectable, generous, and impeccably presented. The small pool is actually the perfect size for a short lap and a cool down. Amazing place! Really look forward to being back there in a couple of days!

We had a fantastic stay at Ya’ax Hotel. If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, this is the perfect spot. The front desk and service staff were amazing—always helpful and welcoming. I especially loved the pool, which was perfect for cooling off on a hot day. The food at the hotel was excellent as well. Plus, the location is great—close to downtown but still feels secluded. Overall, a wonderful experience with warm and friendly staff.

Comfortable boutique hotel near the center of Merida with free dedicated parking nearby. Very helpful staff and excellent complimentary breakfast with made to order dishes. Very quiet, peaceful vibe with lap pool and ample common sitting areas outside.

This is a pretty hotel. We visited in low season and it was very quiet, but it was a good starting point for a number of activities in and outside of Merida. The staff were very kind and made us a packed lunch to take on our various excursions and travel to the next destination.

The hotel staff are very nice and helpful; and the breakfast from Chef Luis is excellent. The hotel is located equidistant between Parque Santa Lucia and the Plaza Grande where there is a good selection of restaurants and shopping. I felt very comfortable at this hotel and the surrounding neighborhood.

Beautiful hotel and room. Nice pool to cool off in during hot day. Hotel located between Main Square and Paseo Montejo where beautiful old homes are. Easy walk to both areas.

Very pretty boutique hotel. Pool was very clean. Great customer service. Great location 10 min walking to the gastronomy 47 where lots of restaurants are located also walking distance to the Centro of Merida. Hotel block is very quiet nothing right by the hotel which makes it very peaceful not noisy at all you can hear the bird’s chirping instead of people and cars passing bye. The food at the restaurant was very good . Bedroom was very clean as well as the hotel. Would stay here again for sure

Amazing food! The breakfast is unbelievable. The burger will change your life. The staff get it. If Expedia offers breakfast and a $25 food credit. This is a crazy deal. The space is stunning. Quiet and beautiful.

Property was well designed and ckean. Staff super friendly and the food was good. Only comment is that there was a coffee maker but no convient place to plug in. As well we found the bathroom very small with limited counter space.

My husband and I stayed here for a week, it was peaceful, quiet, very attentive staff, and beautiful environment. The last night of our stay hurricane Milton was on the way, the city shut down and all stores and businesses were closed. The staff upgraded our room to be closer to reception and supplies in the event of an emergency. The next morning they opened up their kitchen to give us a wonderful breakfast and coffee, when we would have otherwise been out of luck as everything in town was closed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Merida.

I stayed the last full week of March. This hotel is discreet, peaceful and beautiful. From the moment you check in, greeted with smiles and warmth. From the moment the glass door is opened to guide you to the courtyard you realize you are entering serenity and calm. The room was well spaced, I stayed in the king suite which was big enough for one person very comfortably. The grounds are clean and, well kept and serene. The pool area is not big but it is sophisticated. The location is in a power area but so close to Calle 60 and the Paseo without having to deal with any lingering noise. The food, I had breakfast daily, is balanced and beautifully presented. Everything about this place is wonderful but not for those that aren’t looking for peace. If you are looking for loud crowds and rowdy evenings, this is not the place. At least not during the time I was there. I will be going back, it felt like home away from home.
