「Lovely overnight stop on our way home from France at this very grand-looking home. The owners, who treat clients as house guests, gave us a warm welcome and provided us with a delicious home cooked dinner. Morning fresh bread and pastries collected to order by mine host for breakfast accompanied a good buffet. Comfortable bed, clean linen and ample parking. Very good value too - we will be back.」

「This is a stunner of a hotel right on the shore in Dunkirk. Lovely room and bar/lobby. Because we were on a roadtrip for F1 we had a car which was accommodated by the parking lot. (We had a Volvo XC60, and it was a bit of a squeeze even though not full, so best if you have a smaller car to maneuver.) Nothing but positive feedback and highly recommend staying at the Merveilleux. 」

「A truly wonderful hidden gem on the French countryside not too far away from Calais. The hosts have created a unique experience in their old farm house with a beautiful large garden even with their own hedge maze in the back garden. Pet friendly, cozy place, comfortable bed in a well equipped room with brick walls and nice decorations both in and outside. Breakfast is served in the conservatory in the main house. Chickens and ducks walk freely around. We loved it!」
