"Stayed here with plans to go to Little Girl Point. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Got a sense they had all been there for awhile, almost like they were a family. Pool area was really clean, as were the room and all common areas. The breakfast was probably the best selection of any free breakfast I’ve ever encountered. We aren’t early risers and the ladies in charge of that were so kind and told us as long as they were still in there cleaning up, we were welcome to grab whatever we needed (even though we were just past the cut off time). Some hotels you get a sense that they take joy in strictly enforcing their rules, but here it seemed like the staff were all trusted to make good judgement. It’s hard to describe so I’m not sure I’m even making sense! But it seems management isn’t breathing down their necks over the minutiae and it shows. Everyone seems to do their job and do it well; happy staff=happy guests. Would definitely stay at AmericInn again-hopefully they are all this good!"
"Wonderful view for how cheap of a stay it is. The staff less check in process was great for introvert who would not like to deal with people. They also have some amenity rooms you can hang out with friends or other guests. "
"Great value, VERY big, VERY clean rooms! Staff was super friendly. Kids fished off the pier out back, ate the best pizza they’ve ever had, played pool, and really enjoyed themselves! Thank you for such a good time."
"While not the newest/most modern of facilities, the property is very well maintained by a couple who, I believe, live on the property. I had the choice of a first or second floor room and gladly took the first floor. Easy to park and haul in my stuff; blissfully quiet, and well-appointed, super clean, and spacious room.
It may have been my GPS, but trust that the hotel is located on the main throughway, not the street to the south. (Weird quirk that I fell for despite knowing the street address and having been through Ironwood many times.)
Lots of restaurant options within a short drive. Breakfast is not offered, but several good coffee shops, so not an issue for me!"
"The staff was super friendly and helpful.
It was clean a mostly quiet. There were people outside our window making a ruckus in the middle of the night.
There was fresh fruit in the breakfast nook, which I appreciate as a diabetic who can’t have all the carbs.
It was mostly clean, but we found garbage under one of the beds.
We were offered plenty of towels, soap, and shampoo.
We enjoyed all of the facilities: the fitness center, the pool, the hot tub, the arcade, and the bowling alley.
We felt safe and were able to sleep well.
The location was within walking distance of stores, restaurants, and gas stations."
