I cannot say enough good things about the Grand Hotel Victoria. From the immaculately kept grounds; beautiful lush hydrangeas, wonderful pool, exceptional restaurants, to the staff. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and made me and my fiancé feel right at home. We had several hiccups with travel along to and from Como and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we got to our destinations safely and smoothly. To travelers: do check out the local gelato spot that is a 5 minute walk from the hotel (pro-tip: get the pistachio) and the restaurant “Dal Tato” for some amazing Italian food.

Worst 5 star hotel we have stayed in. They are a fairly new 5 star hotel (4 star before their extension) and this showed in their customer service. They want to help but they do not take no as an answer, very pushy and uncomfortable. The room smelt of sewage and the drain was gurgling (we were in the new extended part of the hotel). One towel was dirty. The room service breakfast choice extremely poor. The good things were the indoor spa, comfy bed and the breakfast in the restaurant.

The Grand Hotel Victoria is an amazing property with a warm and friendly staff willing to help at all times. Our stay in a Jr Suite was spectacular, with a deck and expansive views of Lake Como. The rooms were very nicely appointed and the staff was very responsive to cleaning requests, turn down service and requests for things like ice and pillows. The Spa is amazing, with literally something for everyone, whether you like lap pools, waterfall massagers, hot and cold therapies, saunas and so much more. The beach club is a 5 minute walk down the street and provides multiple pools, lounge areas, dining and of course access to the lake itself. Finally, the food was excellent, from the breakfast buffet to inspired Italian meals. You won't be disappointed in this hotel, and Menaggio is a great location to explore all that Lake Como has to offer.

Absolutely stunning property/setting with very attentive staff. The spa is gorgeous and well worth checking out as it’s free to all guests. Onsite restaurant and bar were fantastic as well. Everything is pricey here as compared to other places in town, but that’s to be expected.

From the arrival to our departure we we greeted by our names and always with smiles from all staffers. There was never any issues when we needed directions or help with local transportation. A magnificent stay from start to end. Just fantastic, friendly staff, serviceminded, great rooms, pool and spa. We will be back! If we are to point out areas of improvement, dinner at the hotel was not that great (we had duck which was not that well done), and the bar area feels a bit naked (acoustic & naked walls). But this is minor areas to fix, all in all a 10 out of 10👍

Amazing experience

This hotel is AMAZING!! Best one we stayed at during our trip around Europe. The service is honestly 6 stars. They are so on top of everything. The hotel itself is stunning and very spacious. They also have the most incredible spa facility that us truly a hidden gem so pack a bathing suit. It’s free for hotel guests to use and it’s unlike anything I had ever seen. Super easy to get over the water to Bellagio so I would for sure stay here again. In my oppinion, it was the nicest hotel in Como.

What can I say? This hotel was absolutely amazing, from the top-notch hotel service at the front desk to the property cleanliness; it outshined every hotel I’ve ever been to in my life. The town of Menaggio is very walkable and can be seen in half a day, so if you want to fill up your itinerary, you can take a ferry to Bellagio, or Varenna. We opted for breakfast, and oh my goodness, it was amazing. I absolutely loved their orange juice, as well as the variety of food they offered, from the charcuterie to the main dishes to the snacks. Absolutely amazing. The hotel itself is a pretty big property for being in Maggio. Its cleanliness, gym, indoor spa with an indoor pool, sauna, and resting areas were absolutely amazing and should definitely be utilized. I want to thank Lorena, who was so helpful throughout our stay, from beginning to end. She was absolutely amazing, and the women at the front desk who assisted us absolutely deserve a raise because they work so hard and helped us with absolutely everything. I proposed to my girlfriend right in front of the hotel, and the hotel staff accommodated all my requests in helping me propose to my girlfriend of nine years, and it was just so perfect. They were helpful, kind to all of us, and we would definitely go back in a heartbeat. This is well worth your money because who knows if you’ll ever be back again so make those unforgettable memories with Grand Hotel Victoria!
