「The pool lounger system is the one major flaw here, and it needs fixing. Guests go out around breakfast, leave belongings on loungers, and effectively reserve them for the entire day - often while the loungers sit empty for hours. At peak times, this creates long queues, and you can expect to wait 1-2+ hours for a lounger (even though many sit empty) simply because others are hoarding spots. Management needs to enforce a clear time limit for unattended loungers and stop guests from “saving”...

「The property would have been great only if they picked up our luggage from the bus port. It is high up in the mountain, very difficult to drag your luggage. Not enough warning provided as to how difficult it would be to take your baggage. No taxi, no pick up, I saw other guests who almost cried, dragging their luggage up to the hotel often on narrow oncoming traffic.」

「This is a spectacular hotel owned by two sisters with family members working there as well. The owners are there and constantly cleaning. They offer a nice breakfast every morning over looking beautiful Lake Como. Be prepared to walk down which is not bad, about 15-20 minutes through the beautiful village. It is the up hill if you have difficulties or just take breaks. Also, there is parking if you rent a car. If you walk, you end up at a great place called Bar Roma where you can rest, eat...

「The room was a disaster; worn down bed, bathroom dirty, mold in the shower, etc … The girl at the reception was friendly and took the time to explain the neighborhood. But else the stay was not worth its money. The pictures on hotels.com are from a few years ago and do not show the current state of the room(s). Try to avoid this place if possible.」

「The location was awesome. It was immediately right outside the ferry station of lenno, as soon as you get our of the ferry. View from the front of the hotel was great. The room was clean but basic. The bathroom was clean. They provide 3 things in the minibar that is included in the price. A coke, a water can and carbonated water can. Its once for the stay. The breakfast was better than average. 「Conveniently situated on the waterfront opposite the ferry pier and bus stops with great views across the lake to Bellagio. The setting is unfortunately spoilt by the busy coastal road that runs in front of the hotel, the angry buzz of motorbikes etc. Rear-facing rooms with frosted windows and no view best avoided. Clientele dominated by parties of elderly Brits and Germans.」
